August 2020: V3Cars drives the petrol-manual Maruti Suzuki S-Cross to find out how it performs in real life. S-Cross’ 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 105PS of max power and it has a claimed fuel efficiency of over 18kmpl. Watch the video to find out more about how comfortable it is and how good does its engine perform in actual conditions. S-Cross petrol-manual range starts from Rs 8.39 lakh.

I have just bought this. Beauty . And believe me you won't feel anything missing in this car specially the work of rear ac vents is done superbly by the front ac vents . It's a complete package. Go for it guys. (I have bought zeta model in white colour)

This channel is very different in a very good way till date considering other channels in the same category. The amount of preparation and work you put is clearly visible. Kudos to the practical and intelligent way you structure the whole video. Clear communication of the speaker. No repetition of points. Efficiently communicating all aspects without taking more time than required. Good graphics and camera work. Many of the channels I see talk more about the superficial things they think are valuable in the indian market which is quite irritating some times, thus skipping practical and more important aspects. The way you guys segregate things and priorities is really good. For eg. the way you separate features into 'feel good', 'basic' etc. Suggestion: from the videos I have seen till now where you compare the variants of a car and other such videos. You talk a lot about retrofitting which I think is a topic you should talk more on. Also it would be great if you could talk about the whole process in general. After sales, service costs and tips when buying a car. I hope and pray that the channel grows in the same direction 👍😀

I have watched close to 50 videos on Scross, since i am looking to buy it with enough knowledge. So are u buying! I only feel the design and interior is outdated. I am buying it next week because it looks a good long car and value for money. If i would want to buy a new one after 4-5 years, perhaps it will give a good resale value. It is very suitable for beind a classy good first car.

Suzuki also have 1.4L 4 cylinders turbo engine which they uses in grand Vitara and surprisingly it has 5 star in euro ncap.

What surprising you have found in 5 star euro ncap?? Sounds like you're trying to say that a maruti can't get solid score in crash test?? S cross is based on Suzuki's global C platform which already scored a decent 4 star in global ncap in form of vitara brezza. By virtue of that it is completely clear that s cross will also score same score. Suzuki's global c platform is definitely waayyyy better than their heartect platform. And it is even better than Hyundai's k1 platform on which venue is based. Sheet metal thickness of s cross is more sturdy and strong tha current generation Ford Figo and aspire although not in the league of ecosport though.

Your car reviews are brilliant. Just one more thing to add why Alpha variant won't justify is the TCS 0.75% charges which comes to about 8000 bucks for any car having ex-showroom price above 10L. Zeta being priced just below 10L doesn't attract this fee.

Maruti uses same power train options in all their lineup that way they keep the cost of production and parts cheaper as it is mass produced and parts availablity is never an issue that way ,that is my thinking .

Priority is to accommodate 5 adults comfortably. Major driving is in city and looking for petrol only. Choices which I have right now is Tata nexon, scross, xl6 or base variants of (creta or seltos). Hi Bro, I plan to buy s-cross. Some of my friends comment that s-cross will be discontinued soon and safety wise it is worsted than breeza. Because s-cross indian model has not tested with any NCAP.
