WELCOME to my 2020 Samsung Ultimate Battery drain test where we pit up the entire lineup of NEW Samsung 2020 smartphones including the NEW Samsung Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20 Plus, the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the newest foldable creation by samsung, the galaxy Z Flip.

As Ultra's owner, I do not recommend anyone going for it if you want the best deal. No, seriously, I can't say about one thing that will be useful or better in user experience in the Ultra. I love my ultra, but I do recommend the plus instead.

@@CryoStrix well, don't you think the bigger screen makes a lot of difference? Those 0.2 inches make a huge difference for me. And then you have: Faster charging Slightly better battery life And a better camera

Run that Ultra at 60fps and Battery is legendary. I get 2 days of use out of it with moderately heavy use.

Is these tests Are these tests done without any application installed? I just bought an Galaxy S20 but it drains much faster than these tests. I've got some social media apps, messaging apps and shopping apps. Even with the phone in standby mode it drains more. I think the screen on time around 5 hours.

Currently own a s9 plus and deciding which one I should upgrade to. I’m thinking it’ll be the s20 plus as it’s seems to be the best all round package. I’m not a big camera buff so definitely don’t need the Ultra. So the more expensive Ultra with it’s bigger battery only lasted an extra 10 minutes longer than the Plus model. It’s a no brainier for me, it has to be the s20 plus.

Recording at 8k drains hella battery for any device should have done 4k60 no one's gonna use 8k but I get why u did it, maybe a separate test with 4k next time

I know this is an old video but judging from this. With what's going on with the s21 and there battery's. I think the s21 plus might have an edge over the ultra now with that bonus 300mah bringing it to 4800 instead of 4500 on the s20 plus. Time will tell and hope you do another vid when those phones release.

This one is really nice review. You are Amazing. In my opinion, s20+ has the most efficient performance. 500maH difference with Ultra should give more than just 10 minutes battery life, i dont know if the s20+ is just good or the Ultra is leaking the most, especially on recording session.

Thing is for daily use except watching KZfaq you don't do other stuff, you scroll continuously through different apps, texting, game here and there etc. which results in more battery consumption, this is not a real life battery test anyway but yeah

I currently have an iPhone X and I’m looking to upgrade to other the galaxy Z Flip or the galaxy s20 Plus it’s such a hard decision I absolutely love the idea of a folding phone I’m just not sure if it is actually an upgrade from an iPhone X what’s your opinion please help

Don't buy Z flip. Foldable phones still needs work. Go for s20 plus. But don't buy the exynos one.

@@viciousviolet3783 ma'am Z flip has many problems. Durability ain't good, plus that crease will get worse after 1 year of use. You can google 'z flip problems'. So all i'm trying to say is that foldable phones aren't solid yet to use. And yah there's exynos. This chipset is not good, you won't get a good battery life plus it overheats after few hours of usage. So there's only one option available for you that's iphone 11 pro max. Solid device you will definitely love it. And If you badly wanna get a good foldable device then i'm sorry to say that you will have to wait for another 1 or 2 years maybe. :3 or the other option is you can hold your iphone X for another 1 year and see what apple offers this year. Iphone X is still a solid device. It will greatly serve you for another 2 years at least. There's no need to rush.

@@viciousviolet3783 um if you can manage the snapdragon variant then i would definitely say that go for s20 plus. And then there's pixel 4xl. I'm not sure whether i should recommend you to buy this phone or not. This phone has got great camera, you will get google assistant which is awesome, 90hz screen which is also a nice touch. But still i'm not sure whether you will like this phone or not. You can visit '6 months later reviews' and listen to his opinions on this phone. Hope it helps!

I have my s20 always on 120hz and I'm disappointed with the 6-7 hrs use time. I will try also with 60hz but to be honest i bought this phone just for the 120hz... My 11 pro is champ on battery life

@@Americanspy-hn2kw i usually go for black but this time I wanted something new and I don't regret it at all tbh. Battery is very good IMO. I upgraded from the s10 plus and I can definitely notice a small improvement in the Battery life. Charging is super fast too.

These were snapdragon variants and were for some reason tested at WQHD and not FHD at 120hz.

Finally a good battery test, I've seen so many videos showing the S20 Ultra only lasting 8 hours because they put it on 120hz for the entire time. I'd rather have 5 extra hours of battery and a 1440p display over 120hz refresh rate. Thanks for the video

I dont know what phone youre using but my S20+ gets mess than four hours on screen time and maybe about 8 hours if i jjst keave it alone and dont touch it at all

I don't care if the battery in Z Flip is smaller, I don't care if it's not 120Hz, I don't care if it's not QHD, I don't care if the cameras are not the newest, I don't care if it has slower charge, *I JUST WANT IT SO BAD!* But I can't afford it :'(
