@@josemathias5342 The issue with the gt500 is getting traction which is difficult with all that power going to the rear wheels. While the m5cs has awd. If the gt500 catches traction with good tires and a good driver then it will easily beat it.

Bryan Castillo they changed the transmission for the 2022 model M5 to a traditional torque converter automatic 8 speed transmission and ditched the DCT. The older ones had the DCT but this model.

Well, this is the carbon fiber track version which has a big wing with 500lbs of downforce so it's going to slow the Shelby GT500 down a little bit. The Shelby GT500 is a rocket when it hooks up especially on prep surface. The Shelby GT500 has a dual clutch transmission which will give it the advantage. Look at the track speed difference as well.

It's completely stock. It's the carbon fiber track version which has stickier cup 2 tires which helps alot with traction compared to the base model GT500 tires. The Shelby GT500 has a dual clutch transmission with 760HP so it's not surprising.

@@2323haywood the transmission is part of the car bro. Have you ever driven a 1997 Dodge Viper? Around a track? There are no Assists, transmission, steering, abs, all analog. When I had my Q60 red sport it had auto trans, auto sensor brakes, steering assist, electronic steering, absolutely boring. Especially since I couldn’t shift gear I hated that car, I feel the same about all modern cars I’ve driven, Lexus GS Tesla Model 3, even when I drove a 2020 Shelby GT500 750HP around the track, it was horrible, the car was way too heavy, terrible handling, the panels were too high, it was hard to see out of and it was a hassle to corner with, it weighed 4000lbs. I hate modern cars, they’re too big, I hate them. They’re just so boring. Not like my old viper where you have to do everything yourself. You don’t have some traction control system to kick in a save your weenie ass. I loved the RX7 too. And the New cars look like total shit compared to the old cars from my time. They’re too fat and bulky they look like toasters. Cars I grew up with were sleek, slender, low beltline, smaller, lighter, more fun to drive, like the 1992 Honda NSX type R, or even the R34 GTR which is not as big and bulky as the ugly ass R35 which looks like total shit and weighs more. Subaru 22B STI only weighed 2750lbs. Compared to the new ugly STI that weighs 3400lbs. And looks like a Big ugly toaster. We had the E30 M3 which was half the size of a new M3 and way more fun to drive. Today’s cars are just trash bro they don’t have that character that the old cars have for me to want to buy one. We had the JZ Supra, I was all about that car in the 90s, nobody bought them back then. Now it’s all the same thing, high tech toaster looking cars, no shifting, Auto traction control, steering assist braking assist, it’s all assists and safety standards and it sensors the fun. Not to mention they big and ugly
