Driven both. Had a 4 cyl camry as a rental car and my family has a 2019 highlander v6. From the seat of the pants, there’s no question the highlander feels much faster throughout the entire rev range. Throttle tip in is also more sensitive so feels quite nice when you first hit the gas from a red light. It’s very muscular and torquey feeling. The Camry feels slower, but it’s not a slow car. Like highlander feels quicker and is quicker than camry 2.5, but the Camry isn’t terrible feeling at all. Both are not fast, but they do what they do greatly!
