Not sure if the Raize is supposed to go head to head with the Stonic, but pricing and specs wise it sure looks that way!
Anyway - my conclusion : if you can stretch your budget abit, get the Stonic. Drives better, has better low end torque, more features, WAYYY nicer interior.

Adjustable steering and seat height tips are very helpful, thank you! A pity that the seat belt height is not adjustable too...

Love the boxy look and interior space but really wish for at least some steering wheel buttons or other creature comforts. Would still buy it tho. Seems like a comfortable drive

most people prefer knobs on the aircon control as it much easier and cheaper to fix if anything goes wrong. plus knobs and switches are intuitive and doesn't require you to take your eyes away from the road while driving if you every want to adjust the aircon.

Totally with you. I don't mind that "old school" knobs for the aircon as I don't need to take my eyes off the road.

We will be getting this model in Malaysia as a rebadged model under Perodua but no official rebadged name yet, just the model number which is D55L. Hope the rebadged version will get better interiors tho. Good review nonetheless.

this car is frigging good but it doesn't sell well in indo. people here dont like 1 litre car while i believe it is beneficial cos it's more economical fuel consumption wise

For LKA problem mentioned. It wont be a problem if u turn on your signal to overtake lane side vehicles.

raize specs sell for indonesia market is way better specs than singapore market i think, We have TSS , adaptive cruise control and turbo specs here

Not that bumpy, I think it’s quite well balanced. But I was driving on relatively smooth roads in central singapore

I like the dimension of the vehicle Toyota raise and on account of its dimension I would like to purchase the raise I am waiting eagerly for the launch of the vehicle. I am also observing the Hundai AX1. Which ever is launched first i would purchase the vehicle. Can you let me know the launch date.

The lane assist isn’t really that bad. In fact, it makes me signal more than ever. With regards to what the owner said abt the lane assist, you signal, you no need to fight the steering. And the truth is, the lane assist really keeps you in lane. :) I owned an XS btw. Lol

Me too bro my shortlist is also the same. Planning to buy in December. Tough choice. I drive a DSG in Ireland and it SUCKS go for a conventional torque converter auto or a CVT.

This car is gonna enter Malaysia markets soon as a Perodua but I can't believe the air cond control are still using the 90's air cond control even a base model Myvi in Malaysia have digital switches on it o yea hope you can review the Perodua Myvi it is available in the Singapore Market. I am from Malaysia

@@Samaryas yea I just don't know why Daihatsu don't wanna bring in a 1500cc engine Sirion into Indonesia bc it has so much of cool stuff and may boost the sales of Sirion the 1500cc has 6 airbags, leather seat, even pre collision functions and more.... The 1.5 litre is the same engine if the Avanza there I guess

@@michaelteo3623 Because if Daihatsu brings 1.5l Sirion it will eat its own brother (Yaris). Because in specs it will be better than Yaris, but the Sirion price is certainly much cheaper.

Hope Perodua will bring in Ativa as it is better specs. PI give bare bones specs with x prices. Ativa Singapore will sell hot cakes.

my lane assistance doest does what u say. u signal and it knows u are trying to change lane or move to the side. u didnt signal is it??lol

Yes, need to turn the signal. If not Car will adjust your steering to maintain lane or Signal Stick on his car optional haha.

I got the raize a few weeks ago, based on my experience u can actually hear quite a bit of wind noise especially on highway

@@entrost how about 1000cc turbo engine with 3 cylinder? Is it quite powerful? Or it also cause a little shaky feeling inside the cabine due to 3 cylinders engine? Thanks🙏

@@sriintanti6397 the power is decent (at least for me 😂), pickup is better than the previous car I drove which is a Subaru XV 1.6. As for vibrations, you can really feel it when the car is idle, but while driving it’s fine

But their income 5 to 20 times compare malaysian ....seem expensive for malaysian ...fresh malaysian graduate earn rm3000 +++ but fresh singaporean graduate 5000k s dollar =rm15000 +++

Only the owner and myself were in the car, feels sufficient for 2 people. Like a regular Altis/Vios kinda feel. 5 people going up slope I think may start to struggle
