So, I have inquired to several different manufactures regarding this situation... and have also asked two who do make larger gear and they suggested that when the waist size gets up there, they have found that the general shape of the consumer has much more variance in hip / waist and length sizes. The target market in the higher sizes is much harder to fit universally.
