We have an older 7kw backup stationary unit runs on propane. Totally manual system, after years of service had to replace the magneto. Many filer/oil changes and valve adjustments later, runs like a top.

I never seen a vertical home generator. Is thier a benefit over horizontal models on stater longevity?

You better crank up production. I am sure half the state of Texas is looking into standby generators right now! I am going with the 20kw model if I can find any in stock.

I have a 20kw 2021 Briggs & Stratton standby generator. I am installing a 6567 and/or 6031 cold weather kit but there is no pin connector at the battery compartment and/or back engine compartment to connect the battery warmer/oil warmer wiring harness. Where is the generator pin connector for the warmers?

hello i have a 12 k model #40590 i have the twisted pair 18/2 connected to ''2 wire start'' terminals in generator and the 240v 14/2 connected to terminal 26 27 in generator the generator will start but not transfer automatically any suggestions you could give me? i am an electrical contractor id like to make sure my control connections are right before calling service as it is a new generator

I’ve had a 8k for 5 years never runs. I can never get it running even when new. I hold it to run it starts right up as soon as I disengage starter it dies. What do you think??

So as long as the starter is engaged motor runs great

Vanguard motor is “top of food chain!” They updated the alternator! “Dollar to Dollar!” Can’t beat it!! For some reason. B&S doesn’t get the recognition it earned! Something most people probably missed during what he said. If your having issues. They will give you access to the “trouble shooting “ side of the software. Generec won’t!!
