This year was a mess. Even with all the uncertainty, I was able to accomplish some goals, such as winning 8 nationals (1 in 17-20 Expert) and getting my first Junior Elite Men Podium. The Grands were no joke, but I knew it would be extremely difficult before I arrived. In the Race of Champions (ROC), I finished 5th out of 57 riders in 17-20 Expert. In the NAG 5 Challenge, I finished 6th among the best amateurs in the country. For the National Finals, I unfortunately had a rider crash in front of me in quarters and I was caught up in it, ending my year there. Overall, I ended up National Age Group (NAG) #4 in 17-20 Expert and National #39. This year would not have been possible without everyone that has supported me, so I would like to thank my parents, Donavon and Traci Long, the Velador family, my teammates, my fans, my track buddies, and all my sponsors: Hyper, Atlas, 6D, Snafu, Faith, Promax, Box, HT, and G-Form.
