Thanks. It's quiet without you talking. The Passat Elegance here has tyre and road noise. Is this Artaeon quieter ? Can you measure the noise in dbs?

While it is rougly the same or it is quieter in the Arteon provided the Arteon has the 19" rims. Sometimes this will not be the absolute case as the Arteon is a new car and the Passat has been on the road for a period of time. The car condition is not the same the tyres could be older, and some tear and wear happened faster on a test drive car.

Because Passat is fitted with terrible tyres. Come on, Conti something mmg tak boleh pakai. Bising and not comfortable. Dunno why VW tyres selection are bad except for Arteon. P Zero grippy tyres are amazing but very loud as well. In this segment, Camry has the best tyre, Bridgestone Turanza which is comfort, handling, grippy, quiet and fuel efficient.

Michelin 3ST by Accord is good. Quite quiet. Now got Michelin 4. 4ST also got better but dunno if it's in M'sia market

I am not sure. Probably. It still depends on the demand. I guess this colour has less people demand that is why it is no longer offer. This is just my thought tho.

Compare to Passat elegance, which one handling and suspension is better? Arteon is better?

Arteon is sharper and it has DCC which definitely more superior interms of overall ride handling.

Bro 2 different price range car actually. If you have the budget to spend this is definitely a car to go for. But if you just a daily commute car with good fuel efficiency, easy to drive around town and sometimes highway drive the Almera is a choice too.

Road noise is a bit protruding. It maybe due to certain bad road conditions and the tyres use not a very quiet one.

From the reliable source it done in 7.7 seconds. From my acceleration it felt faster than that 😁

Arteon 是用 Wet clutch 应该会比较少问题。

I will go for Arteon. Simply just the design, power delivery and the driving dynamic.

Ok. As for the driver window, can it be slided down all the way to the bottom or only half way like the rear window? If halfway then it's gonna be quite troublesome let say if you're picking up food at the drive thru for example. Then using frameless window, is it as sturdy as the non frameless window? Pros and cons?

@@santiagocabrera260 I have not tested rolling down the windows of this Arteon. But I guess most of driver side windows can be slide down fully. The frameless windows seems sturdy while I am opening and closing the doors. Pro = good looking and cool. Cons = Probably easier got get windows alignment issue after long time of opening and closing the doors (Just my guess cause I never owned a frameless door car before).

@@royalprince5878 I have not tested the Accord so I can't justify its ride comfort. So I will put Camry at the best ride comfort then follow by the Passat then Arteon.

If what you heard is true. I think what we user or owner is to report the issue and claim the faulty part if your car is still under warranty. As for VW they should have know the issue and improve their reliability from time to time by gathering users escalation. I guess this how all car manufacturer do not only VW.

they have switch to wet clutch for latest model. no worry. :D

That was the problems few years back. Now all the models are upgraded with new gearbox.
