A great feature is it does not have that stupid start stop feature. The only vw without it. That’s why is bought it. That feature is very aggravating. I also don’t have to turn it off every time I get in the car. Cause it’s not there. I like a six speed trans vs a 10 speed It is a bit of a retro vw Thanks vw I’m happy with it

Great job with the review! Despite having older screen technology I find the car itself nice. It's growing on me. Especially being the driver of a 2013 Passat and knowing this car has "good bones."

Awesome video, Tyler! Glad to see another video from you. I really like the styling of the mildly refreshed Passat. Especially the sleek A/C vent design that runs the entire width of the dashboard! It looks so modern and upscale looking in my opinion. Too bad a wagon model is no longer available. I think that would sell particularly well in today's market. Keep these videos coming, Tyler! Ps you don’t need a 10 speed. I drove one it felt like the trans was dancing a samba looking for a gear. 6 speed does just fine. Love my Passat sel. Also own a Jetta se 1.8

I am disappointed in the size of the screen. The phone mode screen has 4 boxes off to the right side of the screen and takes up room on the screen that isn’t necessary. When someone calls, their name goes into a box on the screen and it is written so tiny it’s ridiculous. My other car had large display of phone number and name of caller. VW could have made it so that the names and phone numbers would come up larger IF they would have taken the 4 boxes displayed off o the sceeen. The other half of the screen is just wasted space not being used where the larger name and phone number could have been displayed.

I love my 2008 Passat Kormfort. It has a little more power than this Passat but I'd gladly give up 30 horses for all the tech features and gas mileage.

Almost nothing have changed since 2012...

Wish there was an upgrade to a larger. Screen. I wasn’t shown how to operate the phone screen, so I didn’t get to see how tiny the person’s name is on the screen when they call. Magnifying glass almost needed. Ridiculous!
