@@harrybryson1130 yup! No regrets. The 2021 roscoe 8 has better components the 2018 Roscoe 8. You won't be upgrading anything for a while, maybe just the fork when you wanna decent faster on the gnarly trails. The only problem is that they can't keep them in stock, all sold out 🤣

Yeah! I just got one the other day, it's amazing.

It might have similar components. But not similar geometry. The fuse is far more playful than the Roscoe and has a thru axle instead of boost.

@@calebdavenport1231 I just don't think those differences are worth the price difference. It's too much in my opinion.

Pedro Vázquez true. I have a slightly different opinion though because if you were to upgrade, the Fuse would be overall less expensive because the capability with the geometry and more options with the thru axle.

But I would love to get a Roscoe 7. But they are all sold out. And they won’t be coming back until 2021. Fuse and Marin San Quentin on the other hand will be coming back in the next couple of months.

Seems like the SLX crankset and Fox fork are worth it on paper, but there's hardly any info/reviews on the 2021Expert. I'm debating buying the Expert over the Comp too.

The advantage of a single chainring is it's simpler to use and the disadvantages are the chain has to go at more of an angle wearing Out The Chain and cassette a little quicker and you don't have as many gearing options. most people prefer single chainrings just cuz they're simpler and easier to use and they don't mind having less gearing options

I agree, it mainly just makes things simpler on the trail since you don’t need all those gears, as they can get in the way if you go over really bumpy terrain and can lead to the chain skipping gears or other issues. It’s nice to have on the road and flat areas so you can pedal faster, but if you’re mainly on the trail you won’t need all those little incremental speeds.

Tror nukeproof scout 2021 är mycket vettigare köp och går att förbeställa nu eller nya merida big trail 600. rockshox recon känns dåligt för 1750$. One one big dog finns att köpa nu också på planetx. stålram och bättre gaffel för 14000:-

@@KarimMostafa_KarimPhoto Jag har testat scout 2020 men inte dom andra. geomässigt är dom rätt lika men meridan har kortare reach så man får nog ta en storlek större om man vill ha längre reach. sonder transmitter ser riktigt fin ut också men kommer inte i 29'. finns på alpkits hemsida om du inte kollat redan.

Yes just released! And they have some pretty similar specs; the fuse does use shimano hubs instead of formula, and the shimanos have centerlocking discs which is cool, but not necessary. The main difference is that the roscoe uses a SRAM SX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain while the fuse has a shimano deore 1x11. That's mostly up to personal preference on if you like SRAM or shimano better, but the 1x12 should have better jumps from different gears since you have 1 more in the rear cassette. I personally like the colors on the roscoe and the SRAM drivetrain is appealing to me, but everyone has different opinions and both are pretty great. Both bikes use boost spacing, but the roscoe uses a boost141 quick release axle in the rear while the fuse uses boost148, which should be stiffer and stronger.

I've done 2 comparisons on Giant! Working on more as well.

@@wilkinsonlee9278 Marlin's are XC bikes, not trail bikes. You won't get a comparable fork on anything in the Marlin line. If you are comparing similar configurations it would be the Trek Roscoe. Both Trek and Specialized are generally a little pricey compared to other less popular brands, but good luck finding anything right now. The Specialized bikes (the 27.5/Comp) are currently shipping, though slowly. The same can't be said for many other brands which are completely backordered for 4-6 months.

@@wilkinsonlee9278 sure, but the only decent hardtail is roscoe and its basically a xc bike with a trail fork. my friend bought a roscoe for 1700 euro and it comes with a rs 35 gold. that is way to expensive. id rather buy a onone big dog with steel frame, rs 35g, gx components and with much better geo for 400 euro less.

@@superjuice2803 i know, buddy. but i usually go for bicycle trips on paved roads. i have 4 MTBs, one Marlin 7(will arrive tomorrow after 2 months of waiting), one Merida Big nine 100(it's another XC bike) and Merida Big nine XT Edition. the only bicycle i use for trails is Big nine XT Edition. the rest are not for that.
