Thank you watching the channel. We will be looking at the WW2 75th Anniversary silver proof medal released by the US mint.
Limited to 20000 examples.
Specifications:
1 Troy oz of Fine Silver 99,9%
31.1 grams
Diameter 40.60mm
Plain Edge
Mint - Philadelphia
Proof Finish
Medal Obverse:
Features a eagle holding a Olive branch, stating peace. The olive branch is in its right talon. inspiration is taken from the Great Seal of the United States of America. Wording states Liberty 1945 and World War II
Medal Reverse:
Sun and olive branch with the words 75th Anniversary. The designs shows the sun element. The sun has shinned for 75 years, risen to noon day brilliance it shines on the olive branches. (still not entirely sure what they are looking for here, let me know below in the comments if you know)

I really like the simplistic design of the medal. The proof finish compliments it well. You got a nice medal there Mr Limey sir, enjoy it! Unfortunately, my medal came with a few light milk spots (on either side of “Liberty”, weird). I gotta love it for what it is, it’s not like I can return it for replacement lol.

@@SilverLimey79 my last buys were the victory in Europe strike on the day sovereign and a 1999 proof sovereign. I have not bought the 2021 sovereign as yet, no hurry as there are plenty of those. Am keen to see the next great engravers coin and so am keeping some powder dry for that.

HI LIMEY. I LIKE THE DESIGN OF BOTH OBV & REV ON THIS MEDAL. THE SIMPLICITY OF THE REVERSE LOOKS MUCH BETTER THAN THE CLUTTERED GOLD COIN. I KNEW THERE WOULD BE VERY LITTLE DEMAND ON THE SECONDARY MARKET FOR THE MEDAL. THERE ARE JUST NOT THAT MANY MEDAL COLLECTORS. I DID NOT ORDER THE MEDAL. I DID ORDER THE GOLD COIN. I DO LIKE THE MEDAL REVERSE BETTER. BOTTOM LINE, YOU GOT A BEAUTIFUL MEDAL. APPRECIATE IT FOR THAT AND NOT FOR THE RESALE VALUE. CONGRATS ON THE V75 SILVER EAGLE. *TYU*

I sold it for $99, I thought it would go higher. But wanted to sell it while there was still a little profit. I do like the medal. But really got it to flip it. I think the guy who got it is keeping it and will enjoy it. ✌️🇺🇸🇬🇧 PS Yours does not look hand signed. Looks like machine printed like mine.
