You are missing the rubber gasket the goes on the muffler mounting strap
@CHRGITUP3 жыл бұрын
The rubber mounting strap doesn't go on the carbon fiber exhaust. The manufacturer is actually working on an all black and carbon fiber mounting strap that I believe should be out this year.

Most Yosh pipes are 2.0" from what I remember. I know they made some 2.25" ones but for limited models from what I remember. The Hindle is 2.25" which is the one I have. I think all Hindle pipes are 2.25".

Morning dude. Purchased this same exhaust system. Great step by step tutorial, very impressive. Did your R6 require a Dyno post installation or is the servo buddy the alternative? Thank you in advance. Keep up the great work!
@CHRGITUP2 жыл бұрын
Hey steven, great question. After I installed the Hindle full system I did NOT get the bike Dyno tuned, and it still isn't tuned. After using the R6 with the full system I wasn't feeling any lag or sputtering from the power on when on the throttle. If I did I would have gotten either the ECU flashed or placed a power commander on the bike to get the most out of it. The ECU flash is permanent and cannot be taken back to stock, however, once you remove the power commander the bike would go back to stock mapping. As it stand I like the way the bike feels and love the back firing on deceleration, so for now it'll stay the way it is but in the future I will most likely throw a power commander on it. As for the Servo Buddy, it is only there to trick the bikes system to thinking that the EXUP valve is still being used with the exhaust. When installed it stops the engine light from coming on after removing the servo motor and cables. Hope this helps, have a great day!

@@CHRGITUP you mentioned you might throw on a power commander in future, hi I'm 8 months from the future 😂 Did you add a PCV? It would be awesome to see a tutorial on that. How do you even get at the lower injectors 🤔
@CHRGITUP Жыл бұрын
😄 🤣 no no I didn't add a PC to my R6. Things are still running awesome and I won't be tracking this bike so I don't think it'll get a PC unless I'm given one to do content on 😶. Their is a new power commander 6 out from what I read and it seems to be easier then ever to install. Apparently just a simple plug and play, however, I haven't had a chance to play around with it though.

Hey bud, great video! Just got the same one and was installing today, having issues with the bracket that goes behind the rear set! Did you have to make any adjustments or did it fit as is? Also O2 sensor isn't reaching the socket, what did you reroute that from? Thank you for your help!
@CHRGITUP3 жыл бұрын
Hey bud, do you have aftermarket rear sets or the OE ones that come with the bike? For the O2 sensor, I ran the wire a different way. I believe I show it in the video which way I went and that at the end I held it up until I fully installed the exhaust bracket which brought it closer to the sensor.
@vinayjoshi74243 жыл бұрын
@@CHRGITUP They are OE ones
@CHRGITUP3 жыл бұрын
The OE rear set needs a slight mod by cutting a small notch in the bracket to make it for just right. The bracket is "made" for aftermarket rear sets apparently.

Nice job👍🏽🦾🏍 Very informative. So since you installed a servo-buddy, no ECU flash is required?
@CHRGITUP3 жыл бұрын
Nope, I would only do an ECU reflash as a last resort. Right now the bike feels great, no lag, no loss in throttle response. Only thing I might do down the line is possibly get a power commander but right now I'm really enjoying the back fire pops and flames out the back 🤩😜!

I can’t see the bracket exhaust on my listing. Where did you buy that one? And what is the size or mm of the spring connecting to the front elbow?
@CHRGITUP2 жыл бұрын
Hey, not sure what you mean by your listing, however, everything I used to install the exhaust onto the R6 came in the kit from the manufacturer. Hindle (www.hindle.com/). The kit comes with the all the springs, flanges, brackets needed to install onto your specific bike. I won't be able to give you the static spring measurements since everything is already installed in the R6.

What is the servo motor plug for?
@CHRGITUP Жыл бұрын
I think you are referring to the "servo buddy" that I added to the wire harness. The servo buddy tricks the bikes system into thinking that the actual servo motor and it's mechanism is still on the bike, when in reality I have completed removed the servo motor and all it's components.
