Hi there. According to her online bio, Li Wenwen was born at Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County. So it is likely that Li is a Manchu.

@@mountaingoat889 thanks. I was guessing that too. Being born and raised in Canada, I assumed Manchu was just one of the many dialects. Since we don't learn Chinese history, it was an easy mistake to make even though I watched many movies and drama based on Qing dynasty era. Wasn't until was in my mid twenties did I learn they are considered a distinct ethnic group. Also did a 23&me DNA test and it revealed 72% Guangdong and 20% Chinese Dai. Had to Google what Dai is.
