Just had the Akrapovic slip on fitted so done a little comparison before and after video to hear the difference. Aprilia race map done. Passenger pegs removed. Weight saving is huge and sounds so much better. This clip is with db killer removed.

I got the Akro exhaust and race map as well and it spits flames from exhaust when I give it a few revs

Got a mivv exhaust for half the price. Sounds and looks amazing. Looks better then akra as well.

The akra can sounds much better. I just had my new tuono delivered last week and I feel like the stock exhaust is missing that lovely bassy V4 bark and grumble so I'm thinking of going for the akra can and race map. Have you noticed a change in your MPG with this combo? I didn't buy this bike for its economy but the range/MPG is already pretty bad, I am filling this thirsty beast up a lot!

The combo is a big improvement over stock for fuelling at low revs, overall performance and of course the sound. I must admit I haven’t noticed much of a difference on fuel economy though. Unfortunate nature of the V4 I’m afraid.

Does your dash show the word "Race" under the side stand warning symbol ? I have the same exhaust fitted but with no race symbol showing. Just wondering if the race map has been installed.

It does. When the bike has had the Aprilia race map, you should see “race”.

Hi Simon. No the new exhaust doesn’t have the valve and the cables are removed from the servo. This was all done at the dealership as they also did the mapping.

After fitting the Akra did you find low rev ridding smoother. Mine is not great in traffic and was wondering if it's euro5.

Definitely! The Aprilia race map with the Akra is much better fuelling. Before the map it was very on / off at low revs. Now (especially in rain mode around town) it’s as smooth as a straight 4, but with more of that low end grunt.

Hi there, which bar end mirrors are on your bike? I've got the same exhaust on order . Had the Akrapovic on my 2019 Tuono sounded awesome. The stock on my 2021 sounds very tame in comparison!

Hi Kierran, they are just some cheap unbranded ones off Amazon but they work really well. This exhaust is a decent compromise, like the idea of the Sc-Project CR-T but after hearing this one the Sc may be a bit much.

Hi Lenny, I had a sc project cr-t on my Ktm superduke 1290 r before my last Tuono, it sounded awesome and was well made. Only problem is the sc project would void the Aprilia warranty so had to stick with the Akrapovic. But to be fair my last Tuono had one and it spot on. I'll check out amazon for those mirrors cheers
