the zink print looked really cool after the water test! the colors running and the way it was wiped looked cool and artsy to me. someone may even prefer that look for their photos 🌸

I forgot about the water part. I was debating whether should I get the Fuji instax mini or the canon one, but I ended up getting the Fuji instax, good choice of mine after seeing this video cause I wanted to print photos that will last for a long time. For instance, that water experiment part, that was great. Thanks.

Wow, I was basically sold on the cannonball the way through until that water test. That was so sad! Although I suppose it won’t rlly matter if water hits it that bad as I plan to use mostly for journaling which I don’t plan on getting wet anyway. Something to consider though as I will sometimes use watercolor on my pages. Thanks for the rlly good comparison review!

Wow!!! This video got me sold hard on the Kodak Mini 3 Retro! There's also a camera version that functions both as a printer (separately with a smartphone, for example) and a built-in camera!

Really great comparison, I have always thought instax is best, but once after I saw ur video I got to know there are others which are even good then that, the sticker thing in canon, I am loving it. For making it waterproof, u can just stick an OHP/glass sheet once after u stick the pic in journals, that may help.

Very nicely produced! It's not really a fair comparison as all three use very different print technologies. Instax is film, Canon uses Zink coated paper and the Kodak Mini 3 uses dye sublimation printing, which will always give the best results, plus it adds a final coating layer which helped with your water test. I have printers that handle all three formats and find different uses for each.

I think I'll get the canon one. I'll be trying to avoid getting my journals wet to start with so they should be pretty safe. If they get wet, the entire journal will be ruined anyway.

Hi, which one will last longer? I mean which pictures faded? And which keep the same quality as it was newly printed?

My observations from the two I have: Instax will never show true to life colour unless you edit the original photo prior to printing, and even then it's a gamble that you will get what you wanted. Canon mini print struggles with very dark colours and can also leave vertical lines on the print due to the conveyor that moves the film out of the printer. Edit: More observations after 200+ prints on the Mini Print... Never remove the blue cardboard sheet when inserting the film. Let it run through the printing process. It does seem to help with removing MOST track marks on photos printed afterwards. Photo quality does improve. I removed it before inserting the film in over 10 reloads (100 prints), and definitely the longer it printed without the cardboard before the new films, the worse the track marks were. A hard reset on my printer has not corrected any colour issues. In fact, I think it prints DARKER now than it did before. Still a great printer, and cost effective in comparison Instax, but you will go through a lot of film trying to find the right adjustments to make before each print.

thank you! just be careful not to stock the left over paper for too long, the quality drops down. It is best to use all the paper at once when you print.

If you are into journaling, diary or making home decor using photos, kodak mini is best. Since its portable and no need for power adaptor, you can print anywhere. For me, I print more of family photos, celebration and gatherings so I often use Canon Selphy, the size is just right and looks more better on album. (sometimes kodak mini3 is too small for me, my family is big that is why) Canon Selphy needs a power outlet to print, so it is best use at home or studio.

@@abhinavverma4518 Oh Ya., its Canon Selphy CP1300. I purchased it online @Amazon. The print quality is really smooth. Its a bit bulkier though coz of paper size. But thats not problem as you get good quality prints and bigger size picture.

キャノンのやつは白いフチを出せるのだろうか。私はフチありが好きです。それと耐水性がないと耐用年数にもひびきそうな印象があります。気になるところです。そこそこ値段が安いのでコスパを狙ったとも考えられますね。コダックのやつは音が昔のチープな事務機械のようでかつ段階で色を付ける作業がより機械らしくて良いですね。

it's hard to compare the quality if you don't withhold the photo's; the instax result is blurry and out of focus of your camera all the time. By the way, some people do like polaroid style, so that is not a minus

The kodak app is goodnif you just direct print a photo. But it's kinda hard to use when i try to edit the photo before printing 😅😅

I bought the Instax before watching this video and it's true that is not the best one but for some reason, and I don't know why, I like the white frame around the picture... maybe it's because I can write on the bottom part. And I prefer the thickness of the pics as well. It's just my humble opinion as a owner of a instax. Somebody know something about the prices ? There are significat differences between them ? Canon Inspic c & s almost the same quality, but as you see in my video. It doesn't last thw water test, the ink was wiped out. For kodak the quality is good on any model. Kodak mini shot is a printer with a built-in camera while kodak mini retro is just a printer.

I really want to get the kodak but unfortunately it’s extremely pricey and I only find online (ebay and amazon) and for some reason I can’t find the refills there were only for kodak 2 😪. So I think Ill probably get the canon they sell it in store where I live (Australia). If you know any website that sells the refills please let me know 🙏🏼💕. 감사합니다 😊

@@sassyinkorea Unfortunately the only kodak I could find in store is ‘Kodak Step Touch Instant Print Black Digital Camera’ and ‘Kodak Step White Instant Digital Printer’ do you know if these are any good quality too? I also found Kodak Printomatic Instant Camera is that good too?
