Late to this comment and while I don’t think this will be able to push anywhere near the power some gtrs are at 2000+hp this car will 100% be much much much cheaper to get to around 1000hp than a gtr

agreed. did not like my f80 cs - it was just so frustrating most of the time, never could put the power down when you wanted it to... they really figured it out with these new g8x, especially the xdrive versions.

The M4 grow on me within days. It had to be different and it did it’s job. Can’t say the same thing about the m3. lol The side kills it for me with the lines going everywhere.

I can imagine. I drove one as my daily car for a week and I live in California. Still wheelspun constantly. The only car that I've driven that has less grip to torque would be a narrow body dodge hellcat.

@@DanLMH - my sister lives down at the bottom of the valley, so it’s always an extra pleasure to go visit her. Plus there’s a spectacular hair pin at the other end of the stretch seen on the video. There’s so many great driving roads in Wales, and that’s without even venturing near the ‘evo triangle’.

@@eddie275a oh that is mega haha, what a great place to live, but I bet those roads get icy & snowy in the worst of the winter months! Yes the Evo triangle is also now full of speed cameras iirc (which obviously you wouldn't be speeding) but if you're enjoying yourself you might slip up a little (even as seen in this video DP was doing 70 in a 60😂)

@@DanLMH - yes it can, but nothing a set of Alpin or Cross Climates can’t rectify. I’ve done lots of roadtrips with friends into Wales and have a whole map of all the twisties (basically just all the wriggly white lines you see on maps) - but the B4560 is still a favourite as it’s literally 2mins away from my sister.

I notice the grill less and less but I still find this 4 series rather ungainly still. There’s far too much metal above the rear wheels making the wheels look too small. Viewed side on I think think it looks slab sided and heavy (which it is). They’re bloody massive too.

The only thing here is: Mr. Prosser is telling quite boring bullshit, because he adds his own weight to weight of the car, which is totally idiotic. Of course the M4 has 90 kilograms more weight with the driver sitting in the car. Surprise suprise... PS: this is an "issue" in any other sports car too. Really! You can trust me...😂😂 Despite being such an effective AWD system, which of course means more weight, the xDrive adds only a few kilograms more to this car. The only thing which matters here is EFFICIENCY of the AWD package. And now we all know how much better the M4 with xDrive is in daily driving situations, especially at winter conditions. There are NO downsides of this new BMW M4 AWD version at all, period! Just forget about this stupid "weight" bullshit, because no single modern car which was peppered with additional tons of options, is a "light" car any more.

Indeed what a road - I think the west coast Scotland is maybe more beautiful, but for the combination view and road Wales has it, my favourite combo of the moment ( I change my mind alot, & there's so may quality quiet roads in Wales) is B4501/B5105.

I have the E86 Z4 coupe and it’s exactly what you listed. Great fun.
