I think the BMW actually wins in everything but power. The X7 has way more premium and innovative features that make it stand out.

BMW X7 M50i crushes the new GLS in performance and luxury materials and build quality. The GLS is overweight underpowered with way too much plastic interior parts and its top leather option isn’t as premium as BMW’s Merino leather. BMW is a complete step above the GLS 9n every trim level.

I like my car. Navigation canˋt understand 5 from 10 commands. All other functions are ok. Laser lights, Head up display, high security equipment, BMW did a Good Job.

after 4 years yes, overall yes, bmws are expensive to service, god forbid you have to replace a pair of those RSC tires. But BMW gives u 4 years of free road side rescue and service, even covers uber or lyft up to 90miles. Had to replace a RSC tire after sidewall got punctured, immediately on the display it letse connect to BMW roadside assistance and got help pretty quick and might even get back on the road in few hours if ure lucky
