Personally, the real bronco, though beautiful, doesn't fit my purposes. However I LOVE everything about the sport edition.

It has very decent power whenever it's just the driver and a passenger. If you put 4 adults in it and some luggage, it'll be noticeably slower getting going, up hills, and in high elevations. That's just the way it works folks.

I have to say, I own a Bronco Sport First Edition and have a 2 door Outer Banks full size on order. This Bronco has done nothing but impress me and I have only great comments to say. If you are thinking about one, get it! you will love it, I really like your videos and appreciate your reviews and look forward to all the upcoming content you post! Really seems like the Bronco Sport is a replacement for the Escape because the current Escape seems like a replacement for the Focus.

Ford couldn't name it the bronco 2 after the disaster that was the Bronco 2. I agree with the point you made but the history and anyone who remembers its that would be a mistake.

Unfortunately the new Bronco is a victim of the world-wide supply chain crunch that is affecting all manufacturers. Even the new Bronco Sport is being affected, depending on the trim and equipment. So much of parts manufacturing is outsourced and suppliers are faced with shortages of electronic parts and assembly staff. More delays expected through spring 2021.

Is it me, or does the sport have a nicer interior than the full size bronco? Still bummed the promotional trims from the bronco aren’t actually coming out..

Bronco sport name is just fine. Bronco II would be good too. I'm waiting on delivery of a Sport now. Drove a demo and was very surprised. Liked it better than the Ranger XLT I was test driving. Now drive a F150 and love it but I drive a lot and need a smaller more fuel friendly vehicle.

Ford didn't want to carry the previous stipulations of the Bronco II nameplate. And the amount of people it killed in rollovers. I like Ford's strategy. Getting a product out the door is step one. The fullsize Bronco is so backed up that most buyers won't get their Bronco until 2022. That's just for the people that have already reserved one with money down. Let alone the average buyer that's looking to get into the game. Not to mention the first Bronco didn't show up until 1966. Never was it in the 50s.

I agree with the whole naming thing. Even with the Mustang. They called the Mach -e a Mustang and I know some people have gotten confused and thought that was replacing the V8 muscle car

My ears bled after hearing “1950’s Bronco”....twice.

It is so much better executed visually inside and out than anything Jeep or GM or any body else does. For the price it so looks cool. Get the four cylinder. For sure it’s quality lacks relative to a RAV-4 but man does it look cool. Gorgeous.

love the OJ intro. i will say though, ford didnt fool anyone when they dropped these two vehicles. anyone that is looking at these two "broncos" know exactly what this ride is. a watered down every-day type suv.

You're right-on about the name, there's a history for a smaller Bronco II as well, Bronco Escape would have been a better name too. Ford has gone all-in on the tiny turbo engines, there's nothing wrong with that (high maintenance), I just wish they'd offer an OPTION for a naturally aspirated i6 or v8 in the Bronco's (and F-150's) in every trim.

Big fan! I get what weight and expectations an infamous name can bring, but sometimes we get lost in reviewing the nomenclature instead of actually reviewing the car for...the car. So let's all wear a mask on our cars and judge on what it delivers in features, mechanics, reliability, quality, etc., etc.

Just got my 2022 outer banks. Black with the blue interior. Loving it so far after the first 1100 miles

I had a 93 bronco had the power rear window why is only the 4runner have it ? it's such a nice feature why don't these car makers put it in I hate the pop up window and rear wiper showing .

I think you make a good point how they should have started with the real deal Bronco, then release the "mini" Bronco for people who do not necessarily have the money money for the bigger model. I would have called this the Bronco "Lite" or Bronco "Active"

In what mode did you test it? My sister just purchased a Big Bend , when we tried it in normal mode, she said she would not buy it because too slow, once we put it in sports mode, she was sold and bought it.

Here is my 2 cents. Front bumper bottom part is too low especially closed to the front wheels. Simply trim it. The C pole looks odd. Needs straight up like the other Bronco families.

Ok bud anyone who's played amy attention to the Bronco release knows the difference between the two. Ford has made the distinction perfectly clear. I dont know why you keep saying it's the Ford Bronco or that people think it's the Ford Bronco. A simple google search would show them. Hell watching any Ford announcement video shows the diffetence.

The oj analogy was kinda lame and a bit of a reach, but I totally understand what you meant. Normal people who don’t follow the car industry won’t pay attention to marketing long enough to realize that the bronco isn’t here yet

people who want the Bronco will probably hold out for the real deal and that will probably stunt the sales of the lesser Bronco they're pushing in front . Expensive starting points, and heard the Sport is a lot smaller than it looks.

Is it really Fords fault that you didn't pay attention when Ford CLEALY announced there would be 2 versions of the Bronco? It might have helped your credibility had you actually researched Ford Bronco . The Bronco was NOT around in the 1950's like you state several times. It was first offered August 11, 1965. And, if you look at the Bronco Sport in your video think it's NOT sporty at all you need an eye exam. Not at all impressed by your video.

Turbo charged motorcycle engines are not rugged or reliable. Should have made it bigger with a simple bulletproof V8. DUH (I own a 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat, in case you're wondering, and I fn love all the space inside. I would have got a track hawk if it wasn't $10k more. And let's talk about the Dodge TRX. Fn love the V8's. They're selling them like crazy. Come on Ford, you guys even have 5.0 V8's with forged internals sitting around. Wtf!? These Broncos should be bigger with a V6 and upper end NA V8 and SC V8, and it would have been huge. Come on..)

There has been a bronco 2. So how about bronco 3rd gen.

Sad misuse of a great name, just as GM did with Blazer and Ford is doing with Mustang. What is odd is that each new vehicle under those names has its hits and some misses. They'll sell well. If they were under a different name they might actually be nearly universally appreciated for what they are.

Most of this review was awesome. Your personality is awesome. But some of the "points" made were really weird. Why are we comparing the price of this to the full-size Bronco? It's two completely different markets. Also, WHO thinks this is the "real" Bronco? I don't know anyone who thinks that.... and certainly not anyone who is actually considering buying it. I do agree that the "sport" name makes little sense. And they should've just gone with what everyone was already calling it: "Baby Bronco."

I don't know how old you are but there was a Bronco II already back in the 80s. so they couldn't call it Bronco II Why they called it a Bronco Sport I don't know? probably because everything is a sport these days and Bronco III name probably people wouldn't get. "Cough" like yourself. What they should of called it is a Escape Sport LOL because that's what this is with some off rolling bitt on it.

The Bronco is basically what The Explorer should have been if they had not turn it into a car pretending to be and SUV. They made The Bronco to replace The Explorer so they dont compete. Now the wife can have her car based Explorer and the Husband can have his Truck based Bronco. The Irony is The Explorer was created to replace The Bronco, now The Bronco is replacing The Explorer. Everything has come full circle
