Hey sir, greetings. My apache rtr 200 got delivered on 11th January. Running in period is going on. I have noticed that there is a little clatter sound which comes from the engine when the bike is accelerated. I mean other than the exhaust sound, I also hear a very little clatter sound from the engine while riding the bike. Is this normal or should I get it checked asap? I feel it's probably because of manufacturing tweeks which might go away with first service. But if it's not, it could be damaging my bike's engine. Please if you could verify if your bike makes similar engine sound or not. I've bought the same blue colour btw, feels great.

Congratulations. I am not sure which sound are you talking about and without inspection I would really not comment on it. It would be good you get it clarified from the service. Just in case.

@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs basically when the bike is in gear running at 2-3k rpm, when I accelerate I can hear the engine along with the exhaust sound. It only comes while accelerating, not during idling. It's not very harsh or rattling type but it's still there.

I am facing the same issue bro. I completed my first service on 2 Jan and they are unable to identify the problem so they ordered some parts and the parts are yet to be delivered now it's been almost three weeks. TVS has very poor after sales service😪

@@prateekthevar5901 damn, now this is scaring me because engine is one thing that cannot be compromised with at any cost. Let me know if your problem got solved after replacing the parts or not. It might even be the character of engine itself so if that's the case then I'm okay with it, but if it's a genuine problem and my bike's performance gets hampered, then it's very serious issue.

What is a rack used for ? And answer is your question itself. Yes you can mount your bag on it. Check out other videos on my channel how I have used the top rack on my Dominar and my trk. It helps while touring or having excess lugguge and pillion both

well its custom made. i had a spare Dominar 400 top rack, which I modified to fit the apache 200. and Now I have made further changes to it. Wait for the next video. its not available as straight fit out of the box.

There is no change in the actual exhaust. Just that due to latest norms the sound out put is less bassier in 2021 bs6. This has happened with major manufacturers.
