The hair shrinkage in this video is REAL! My hair looked like a poodle that day. This was when I was using the wrong leave in conditioner. I have now significantly improved my ways (kind of).
Here is my 2021 College Decision Reaction Video. I applied to 27 schools mostly as a biology/pre-med major! I apologize for some of the audio issues - those videos were recorded on my mom's phone which has audio problems. Anyways, I hope you enjoy, and if you would like me to make a video about my stats, extracurriculars, and achievements, let me know as well! Thanks for watching! Congratulations on getting into UCLA, USC, WashU and the others! These are excellent institutions, it is an enormous achievement getting into these and you should be very proud. I am currently a 4th year medical student at a top ranked medical school - a university that in fact rejected me for undergrad - and I came from one of my 'safety' undergrads. College is just a stepping stone for your growth and career and by working hard and doing well, you will be very successful in applying to medical school, which matters way more for your future. Best of luck and enjoy college!

I also applied to Brown, Dartmouth, Yale, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, UChicago, and Harvard this year, but I was rejected by all of them. I had a feeling I would not be getting in, yet it still really hurt when I saw rejection after rejection. This was such a great video and now I am in the same boat as you! I have some really great choices left and I have narrowed now my decision to two great schools. I wish you the best of luck and I love the little message you said at the end! Colleges are NOT a measure of our worth as individuals💖 Also, you are so beautiful

Oh my goodness, you are literally so sweet! The rejections definitely hurt and a few tears were shed, but everything will be okay! Thank you so much for your compliments, they made my week! I am so happy that you have awesome options as well, and I wish you the best of luck next year! We are definitely going to thrive wherever we go! You are absolutely gorgeous as well!! If anything, the rejections just help us develop thick skin and become more resilient

The end of this video really touched me. My college application journey wasn't the best as my low self-esteem and lack of belief in myself often got in the way. But now I go to the University of British Columbia and something tells me that this is where I'm supposed to be. You are a gem! Congrats on all the unis you got accepted into!! I have seen about 20 reation videos like yours of this year and no one has taken the rejections as maturely as you even though you got rejected by the ivies and those levels. Btw I was actually surprised when you and your mom talked in Kannada. Never thought you would talk so fluently and not in an accent. My cousin talks in it but has somewhat of an American accent with it lol!

Awww thank you so much - the rejections were definitely a hard pill to swallow. My Kannada isn't perfect, but I try my best lol. I also have a very heavy Midwestern accent which is pretty apparent when I speak Kannada for a while, but thank you for the compliments - that's so sweet of you! I love the language, and it's something I treasure dearly.

4 years ago, I got my rejection letter from Norte Dame after hoping and wishing and praying for the past two years before that day. I ended up going to my “safety” that gave me an ample scholarship. Now, I’m into an amazing career, met the love of my life, and am set up to graduate debt-free. You end up where you’re supposed to, and try to figure out what’s most important to you: culture or competition?

That's so exciting! Yes, I do, and I can talk about that in my next video, but basically, just be yourself - which is such a cliche, but it's true. Write essays about whatever you are passionate about. My family and I foster dogs, and that is truly my favorite thing in this world, so I wrote about fostering dogs. I'm passionate about destigmatizing menstruation, so in my common app essay, I talked about how I have tried to challenge the belief that periods are taboo. I like to think I'm a funny individual, so I put lots and lots of corny jokes into my essays. Just be yourself in your essays is what I'm trying to say.

I live in St.Louis which is where Wash U is and it’s a beautiful school I don’t go there but I see it a lot and St.Louis is such a pretty city. In some places I wouldn’t be out at night but during the day it’s Beautiful

haha, I think without the bad in life, we cannot have the good, so it's important to own both the failures and successes we have in life because together, they shape us into the person we are
