This reel is amazing. It is so buttery smooth. I use mine for squidding. You get alot of bang for buck the reel will last a lifetime. I wouldn't mind grabbing the version before this. Is there a massive size difference.

Would fishing this reel in saltwater ruin it after awhile? Ik its saltwater rated but some reels say that and still gets messed up

I dunno man, i tried one, I like the old sv tws better, like the system thats on last years zillion 10.0-my favorite reel ever made. I have 2 of those, 4 tatula sv tws, and a coastal sv tws. Those are my standard systems for kayak bass fishing tournaments i fish, and any tourney really. I just feel like they are a bit easier to customize and change settings on the fly. Theres nothing else like them in all of fishing, I have a shimano dc, ive used a metanium, Not even close.

Would you use the Zillion or the Metanium on a frog setup (heavy power rod, maybe 65lbs braid)?

How do you know the gear ratio on the website? I see the picture with it on the reel but it's not in the description (this is my 1st time ordering from here

Diana has really stepped up their game, and make some really great spinning reels. The best reel in the market place for under a hundred dollars is the Fuego LT.

Agreed, very nice Diawa reel. Love them Daiwa's too. However...like you said, that's ALOT of money!!! Yet, it all depends on the pocket of income of that person, in other words, it's subjective upon the cost per person. Being said that, I recalled what you said about them Skiffs too, and "What the Hell, that's alot of money too, yes they are very expensive AND that too, you are getting alot of Skiff for the money, and so its subjective to each individual. Also, how many brand new reels and HIGH DOLLAR $$$ Reels do you have and add up to compared to your average Joe that can only afford a few and only a few, not owning a HIGH DOLLAR reel like you have so many of. Now, don't get me wrong here at all, just making a comparison to what's is perceived as expensive 🤔 in all cases, regardless of the objective. Just my thoughts and my observations. Absolutely no harm intended here, just noticing what you are presenting to your subscribers 😀 😉 👍. Stay and keep safe!

Dude, speaking only for myself, I watch KZfaq fishing because of "the average Joe fishing." This reel is way out of average Joe price range. About $100 tops average Joe out on rod or reels. Just saying.
