The best part about King Shazam is that it means McFarlane will likely make the rest of the Infected. Once we have all the bodies, we should eventually get regular versions of Shazam, Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Hawkman, Donna Troy, and Jim Gordon.

Wish McFarlane would put a liite more paint on the figures. Love the modern Etrigan look glad we got him so soon in the line.

I regret passing on both of these in the wild..

I realize this review is a month old, but I just picked these guys up this past weekend, so I'll toss in my .02 anyway. I had originally planned on passing on Shazam for the reasons described in the video, wanting a classic first. Once I saw him tho, there was no hesitation. Very cool figure that I was surprised didn't come with a flight stand. Gladly, I have extras. As for Etrigan, I think this maybe one of Todd's best DC offerings yet. The colors, the design, his presence are all excellent. The head and neck sculpt are top notch tho, imo. The detail on the eyes and mouth are perfect, but what really gets me are the subtle touches on his neck. You can see vein, bone, tendon and even an Adam's apple. This puts him in my top ten of 2021. The only negative I find in Etrigan is the bottom of his feet being rounded as they are. Even on the pegged stand I've had a bit of a challenge finding a steady pose.

I would like to see a regular Shazam figure on this body but when black Adam is released they may use that body mold since there’s not much of a body difference if u look at them close enough

Now that mcfarlane has an e-store maybe we can get some weapon/accessories packs or head packs.

the Etrigan figure is beautifully sculpted. That is a must want for my collection. I want to see more Superman versions, there are too many Batman variants

Problem is most of us weren’t collecting during DC Universe Classics. Are only option for “standard” prices at the stores is to go in on McFarlane especially since DC Direct is over....We are stuck waiting on the classic looks a few times a year.

Waiting to see if these arrive at my store. Since 80% of my preorders have been canceled for an in-store purchase. Really want the King Shazam since I do have all the other infected. Also, just as you stated, we have seen many versions of the basic Shazam so having this version is something refreshing. I also believe knowing Todd, he will create a movie version when Shazam 2 comes out.

I was actually waiting to hear you mention about how the right thigh/waist area for Shazam gets gapped so easily cause I saw it happen to yours too! It’s bothering me so much haha with my figure at least. Regardless, I love your reviews man!

I haven’t been doing the Batman who laughs figures but I’ve been enjoying all the different versions of Batman. I definitely enjoy the story specific stuff. I did get all the Last Knight figures and am getting classic versions of the Bat family as they release. Definitely picking up this Etrigan though.

Etrigan actually has swivel in the elbows

McFarlane definitely paid allot more attention to these than the DCEU wave....but for the price points can't really complain about anything he has do e!!!!

If Mr. Mc Farlane is left untended he will include a 2 swivel statue in a a DC multiverse wave, they have to entertain him and distract him while he is approving the engineering on the action figures so they can include articulation unnoticed.
