This video started is actually a review of the current-generation Ford Ranger XLT Fx4 as it's about to be phased out, however, we cannot ignore that something is looming "in the new generation Ranger."
The differences are clear to see, the question of visual improvement will always be subjective to many who love the Ranger, however, I am in with the new as it is mechanically and technologically improved "factually."
I would not mind picking up the current generation Ranger as it is one for keeps. Like many bakkies out there, a purchase is mostly generational than just a "one-generation" ownership plan.
I am on the fence regarding a "take now or wait" question because both sides of the fence don't seem to be a bad idea depending on what you prefer: modern tech in a classic or future tech in a modern design.

The next-generation Ranger is not yet on sale and specifications for South Africa have not yet been announced. What we looked at here is a preview Model which might be for International Specifications. Ford South Africa will announce pricing and specifications at launch later this year or early next year.
