When will you people realize that a Honda Accord is not, and has never claimed to be a race car? It’s a daily driver. With adequate power, safety, space, and reliability. If you’re so hung up on power, simply fork over more money and buy a Charger with a 392. Keep in mind that car won’t last even half as long as an accord.

@@Un1t276 I believe you’re assuming much more than what I’m saying. I’m referring to the Accord simply being acceptable for its class. It doesn’t do any one thing fantastically, but it does it admirably. Not hung up on power numbers whatsoever.

@@haroldbeauchamp3770 and that’s fair. I believe Hondas have some of the best engines out of any other car brand next to Toyota. They will go and go, for hundreds of thousands of miles every time. Some of the best built cars imo.

It is a CVT but honda has done a good job at mimicking the shifts to make it less drony and less annoying

When you hit it over 5rpms you’ll hear the shifting

There good i just traded my 23 civic sport hatch for s 22accord sport 1.5 t. Better car period

Cvt. But reliability has improved dramatically over the years. No more failures.
