Retired in the Philippines @45 yrs old and picked this up a few days ago, 2022 model, dual disc brakes and it has cut off option at lights, it's fast and fun. Traffic here is intense and I love riding it. Best scooter for the price!

A somewhat tame version of the PCX A lot of the features were left out in the US version. Got mine in Asteriod Black ABS, HSTC version. No complaints with this scoot. You can either ride it touring or sport style. Minus being an adventure scooter like the ADV, it's an all around scooter. Very much woth it.

Looking forward to your review after testing the s.e.a version. I think all in all the pcx is really the most bang for buck scooter out there especially in s.e.a the yamaha nmax may be a fierce competitor, I still prefer the pcx mostly for the large underseat storage. I only wish the foot deck were a little wider and go a little further up like the Nmax.

So your 2021 cost around $5000 in the US with all the paperwork and tax? I got a 2022 version which is from the company itself in Cambodia, I got mine for just $4,350 including the taxes and paperwork. It comes with the keyless feature but only one Dics brake in the front. It's really weird seeing the different version in America, it's missing a lot of features.

Make sure you have health insurance that's covers motorcycle riding, when you're in Thailand. Many tourists risk riding without the appropriate insurance. Medical bill's can become very expensive quickly. Safe riding 👍

Between the PCX and the Burgman 200, I'm thinking the PCX looks lighter, sportier and better at low speeds. Plus, I can't find any Burgmans to look at anyways.

I think one of the reasons behind the overpricing of this compare to southeast asia version is the STANDARDS. Usually Philippines and other southeast asian country have very low average income. US are on the high side. So they assume it would just be easy buy for the US citizens that's why they overprice it. But don't know the reasons why the downgrade it. Btw how much is the PCX cost there?

very very hard to find in the US...i have been looking for a 2022 here in the south east, there is non! cant even find a 2021. Honda needs to step it up, i have never seen a time when you coudnt even get a Honda .

To your comment about going to Thailand. I’m here now and the new PCX is hard to find even though they are made here. The factory is way behind on production so it takes 1 to 2 months to order, which I did 1 week ago. I haven’t seen any for rent yet, and they don’t even have a test drive model at the dealer. In fact haven’t even seen one in the wild yet. But if its going to be awhile before you visit I’m sure you’ll find one in the rental pool as the PCX150 older version is a popular model. Main differences compared to the US model is that the ABS model comes with traction control and front and rear disk brakes, along with the keyless feature. The keyless feature requires you have the fob on you, and the nice thing is that the included alarm system is automatic when you walk away from the bike. I believe that if you buy the Honda rear storage box accessory, it is also tied to the key fob system to unlock it. Both the regular and ABS versions come with the USB port which is super! One other feature I’m not sure the US version has is a fuel saving feature - when its set, the engine shuts off when idling at the traffic light, but turns back on instantly when you give it gas. Some of the traffic lights are quite long here so its a great fuel saving feature. Best difference of all - its just under $3,000 USD out the door for the more expensive ABS model, compared to almost $4,500 in the US. Can’ t wait to take her on the road!
