Well won't be long before everything will have no cylinders.

Jag will have offer something that's at least as fast as my 9 year old Accord V6 before I will change horses.

Actually, no it does not have more character the many of its competitors. It used to, but that is no longer the case. This Jaguar is a shadow of it's former glory. Gone are the twin chrome exhaust tips. The seats are boring and have no piping or quilting (even a Hyundai has better seats), instead it has cheap print on them 1:32. No fancy Jaguar wood on the dash and doors (it now looks fake). They forgot to integrate the center screen with the dash. They also forgot to finish the trunk with carpeting on top 1:37. The power train is a complete joke. The colors are bland, the exterior shape is nothing to write home about. Even the growler badge on the front looks like a cartoon that a five year old drew. There is basically no compelling reason to buy this car.

I do agree tho it is rather bland for a jag..I would like to know what Jeremy Clarkson has to say about this jaguar..since hes kind of a jag snob lol...I think they made it bland on purpose just to keep build cost down..which is sad for a luxury brand to do that..I'd take a used ten year old Lexus over this any day it'll be more reliable and much fancier..

@@jdubskiwright2380 Take a look at the new Genesis interior, it is impressive to say the least. Jaguar is a big name and the company should be putting out a much better car.

I can't see any car with a turbo engine as luxury. It's laggy. The whole purpose of a V8 or V12 in a luxury sedan isn't power - it's smoothness and comfort. But everyone wants to pretend they're a race car driver when they're in their luxury car, so people who actually want a luxury car because it's comfortable and soft get screwed.

As a car salesman you shouldn't waste your money on these

I would. I drove a rental for a while a year ago and all I could see on the dash were warning lights. The car only had 8,000 miles on it. The car overheated. The brakes were abnormal and squishy. The sound system was very good but that's about all the positives I have for this car. Many competitors offer more reliability and better tech for a similar or better price. Look elsewhere.

Here in the UK the top engine is a twin turbo 3 litre v6 diesel but I doubt they'll make another petrol one as the Jag V6 is no longer in production what I don't understand is why they don't fit their brand new state of the i6 400hp and twincardged

That’ll supposedly be the next XJ and I’m excited to see what they come up. I hope they go back to the iconic design exterior, the last one looked strange for a jag

They discontinued that car a couple of years ago. They were going to release a new generation XJ last year I believe as an all electric car to fight against Tesla Model S. However they decided to scrap those plans because of the company's financial problems

Nah, they should go full opposite. Buck the trend. Throw in the 5.0 supercharged engine into every thing they make and call it xyz SVR. The disruptors in the ICE vs EV game are soon the normal. So the disruptors will be the ICE IDGAF models. Most of the worlds cars will be EV in 10 years anyway.

It has Turbo in it. I have a 2018XF 2.0T, & it is extremely fast. You would have thought it is a 6 cylinder.

Well it would be a 5 series but the reason you’re thinking it looks like a ford is bc ford tried to replicate theirs (and Aston’s design language) and there’s a BIG difference once you’re actually in the car
