Charlie, Let me assure you, the targeted audience is here. Are they supplying cars with Winter tires this time of year? That would certainly impact mpg. Lastly, sidewall is overdue for a comeback.

There is probably more interest in this sedan than you realize. Im looking at the 2024 models that are still using the 2.4 Liter turbo. Remember us old guys that grew up in the 60's and 70's had real hot rods with v8 engines, but now have grown to appreciate a nice quiet, smooth ride. And we probably have other cars for speed. So don't compare the targeted demographic with yourself.

For sake of comparison I've gotten 30MPG in highway driving in an F-Pace with the inline 6 riding on 21 inch wheels.

I've obsessed about jaguars since my teens, especially the XJR's, but the reliability and cost of ownership is the stuff of nightmares.

Is it still bad though? Some people say it's as good as any German car now? Hope that's true.

Always funny what you guys in the US think is premium fuel. Here in Germany the lowest octane is 95 going up to 102. 😄 By the way, I've got a P250 wagon which you don't get in the US and I don't miss a bigger engine considering most recent fuel prices. And it's pretty fast too. And I mean German fast like Autobahn.

It's the same thing. The united states uses a different octane measurement than Europe does and that's why the numbers are different but they're the same thing genius.

@@HaloHamsturyou are right, but even measured the American way in AON, fuel only starts at 90 octane, which in most cases would be premium in the US.

That’s a large tank for a car that size especially with premium. Yikes
