My wife just bought a 2021 Seltos SX Turbo, this thing is a rocket. I grew up driving all the muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's. It feels faster than it really is, 175 horses doesn't seem like much but the 195 Ft Lbs of torque at 1500 rpms really gets things moving in a hurry. One of the reasons for the good performance is the low curb weight. Both of us love it. We're still on the first tank of fuel, so it will only get better. Being an old street racer from the 70's, the performance of this motor is really surprising. I don't care much for all the driving aids especially the Off at stops feature. When you come to a stop it' sounds like the motor shuts down completely until you step on the go pedal then it moves away. I love the fact that you can turn it off if you don't like it. The best warranty in the automotive industry.

it seems hyundai, kia, and mazda seem to be getting better while honda, toyota, and nissan just seem to not put in as much effort in their cars like they used to.

To anyone thinking of buying this, it's a good solid car. It appears easy to service, has good pickup, handling, and after diving with my wife the last week, I can say it has great brakes to thank God! It looks great as well.

Brings me memories of the original CRV

As a Ford salesman, I’ve noticed a lot of my customers cross-shopping Bronco Sport and Seltos. The Bronco Sport seems to more capable off-road and looks a bit better, but the 1.5 Ecoboost underperforms. Not to mention the Seltos Turbo is cheaper in most cases than even the 1.5 Bronco Sports, let alone the 2.0s. Despite having comparable power, it struggles to 60 in about 8.4. The Seltos is a second faster and there’s no need to worry about potential 3 cylinder reliability concerns. The Bronco Sport Badlands 2.0 is much faster and more capable than the Seltos, but the price is considerably more. Kia has really catered well to the market with this one.

I'm seeing some Range Rover inspiration in the front. This new Seltos is going to sell well.

These have proven to be massive best sellers here in India, especially the turbocharged GTX+

ILL Keep the 2.0 liter non turbo engine because I don't think a smaller engine with more hp is gonna be reliable for 10 or 15 Years

It looks like a solid contender and a nice entry into Kia's lineup. I think the standard 2.0L and 6-spd auto are the same in my 2018 Hyundai Elantra. I can't imagine that it feels like enough power, but it'll likely be the more dependable powertrain.

What does "seats are more supportive than comforting" mean?

Is there a manual trans option?

Suprised they put a center locking diff in it.

The only thing missing is a hybrid option.
