I got the top trim Seltos (the SX Turbo) back in November and have since put about 4500 miles on. I love it, and I honestly don’t have any complaints. The Bose sound system is fantastic, seats are supremely comfortable, great moon roof, LED headlights and fog lights, and all of the enhanced driving assistance packages really make for a great suv. It’s also very peppy with the turbo engine.

I'm looking into moving from my 2016 Chevy Malibu to a Seltos SX Turbo. Is there anything you DON'T like about it?

@@OSTKCabal honestly, not really! I’m at 9000 miles now and I still love it! I’ve gone on several long road trips and it’s been fantastic. I came from a 2015 Ford Fusion before. I recommend you get it! I wish it had ventilated seats and I wish all 4 windows were one touch automatic but those would be my only two gripes.

@@garrettcooper8183 I ended up getting a couple year old used Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland instead. The Seltos is a FANTASTIC little SUV and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone, but I decided on more room, luxury, and most importantly towing!

Great Review. I really like this Seltos. It seems to hit above its weight for driving dynamics especially considering the price point. I would pick this over a Chevy Trax or Nissan Rogue Sport.

I got a 2024 Seltos S. One up from the base trim. The IVT(CVT) is smooth and quick enough. Loving it so far. 😊

My girlfriend just got this exact trim its a great vehicle. for us its been getting 27 mpg city and 34 highway. (It also has wireless Apple carplay)

Interior looks very good,those blue line is great,also I like 190 mm ground clearance but for my european taste I think it would be better to have manual gearshift!

Honestly I prefer the key. Two vehicles now the past four years with push button start and I hate when it doesn’t read the fob, which seems to happen often. I’ll take the key any day.

This is just a nice daipy driver to do some normal stuff like groveries and picking up kids from school and going to work, kia is on the right and correct idea and path on their new seltos:)! It alsi has some average off road capability cuz of the suspension.

My buddy got a killer deal on the SX Turbo trim only paid 19k out the door for a 30k vehicle. They are really handing out deals for new cars right now. Granted they did give him 13k for his 2015 Nissan Sentra that only had 15k miles on it which was a good price when he only paid 10k for that as his first car. Used cars have definitely shot up in value due to current circumstances in the world.

The base audio system in this car is actually pretty bad. My friend owns one. Sounds like all of your music is coming from directly in front of you. Doesn’t get that loud either if you adjust it to try and center it out too. If your an audiophile like me, this is not your car.

Weird how slowly it shifts. I mean it’s normal for a torque converter Automatic, but it’s so slow for a dct

slower shifts = better reliability in the long term.

The 7-speed DSG in my 2020 GLI is similar. In "normal" driving it slows down the shifts, especially the 1st-to-2nd gear shift. However if I start giving it some gas, the shifts speed up. I actually think it is better programmed for daily use compared to the old 6-speed DSG in my previous 2016 GTI.
