The 500H is a great car. Those who complaint not being the V8 have probably never drove one. Also on open roads with limited speed no issue. Drove my 500h at 240 km/h last summer on the German autobahn and it was a great safe drive.

Yep. I would buy this over the V8. Before anyone tells me I am saving fuel to buy a $100K car? I can afford the car and gas with cash, I just don’t feel like being loud all the time. Literally and figuratively.

It would’ve been smarter to put the hybrid with the V8 engine. Fuel efficient and even more power.

no, its to heavy and will not fit in all in all. They had a V8Hybrid years ago in the LS but they let it down....buyers who have enough money for such a car have also money for fuel. Now the LS comes either with this V6butTT or this V6Hybrid.

I doubt it. People with $200K will probably buy a Lotus or entry level Ferrari. This car is about refinement and fuel efficiency and style with 85% of the performance

I disagree. This H is about style and sophistication without being too loud. I prefer it that way. Don’t get me wrong, if I were 20 years younger, V8 for sure. But at late 40s, I don’t want being seem as being wealthy and loud about it.

shut if you have no clue about Hybrids and engines which run on Atkinson cycle to safe fuel. I have this V6Hybrid running for 11years now !! with first battery and its my best car ever

Because this car will be much more reliable down the road. A BMW is good to own for 5 years, Lexus a good for 10 years and beyond.
