Hello youTubers, as promised here is my review of the Moto Guzzi V85TT after 4 months of ownership and nearly 5,000 miles. I hope you find it informative. Thanks for watching.

Nice review thank you and agree with most points you made. Guzzi's are a very special marque and are addictive. I like the look of the new screen and will be interested on your thoughts on the v twin booster. Low speed fuelling seems to be a problem on many bikes these days. Ride safe.

Hi Graeme, will let you know on the Mistral fuel trimmer, ordered it on 12th July from Gutsibits of course the whole of Italy goes on holiday in August likely hood is will get it the first week in September, thanks for commenting👍👍

Bought one with 1706 miles. Waiting on registration paperwork. Too busy with work to play with my new bike. Can only download videos and listen as I drive an 18 wheeler. I sold my year 2000 suzuki intruder Vl1500 LC with 85,000 (70k were mine) miles thinking I don't want another motorcycle. But the reason I bought mine was it took away the itch of buying a new car. I have a 1995 nissan truck, a mazda 3 that are in presentable shape so the new Guzzi is my young mistress.

To reset Service proceed as follows: Connect the diagnostic tool; Select the concerned model; Enter in the "INSTRUMENT PANEL" section; Select "SELF-DIAGNOSIS"; Select "ACTIVATIONS"; Enable the command "SERVICE RESET".

@@Davidswordplay I just googled the procedure for U. I don't have the bike yet, but my intentiin is to change ny honda nc to this. I'm so lucky that I can ride every day here in spain, but the chain needs to be serviced often due to the very salty air. 80 percent of europes seasalt is produced here in my livingarea, and while it rains very seldom everything rusts very fast without maintenance.

The cut out switch is only supposed to be used in an emergency shutdown situation ie: motorcycle accident. Your supposed to use the key to turn on and off.

Looks awesome David you could probably get a decal or paint the engine stop I guess interesting as it’s red on my V7.. love Guzzis 😊 Pete

Thanks for commenting Pete and welcome to the Channel, I could Paint it I guess I wonder why if as you say. It’s red on your V7 they decide to not use red on the V 85, anyway Moto Guzzi are a great brand do you have a good dealer in your area or do you service your bike yourself?

Helpful review thank you. I experienced a low speed fuelling problem when i test road one. When i shut off then opened up again at low speed the engine stumbled, it did not respond for maybe 0.5 seconds. Really bad problem at traffic weaving speed. Is this the fuelling problem you mention? On ADV forum some V85TT owners say that stumbleing goes away when the dealer upgrades the ecu software - but i expect you have had that done?

I am just checking about the update I think its number is GA16, I find it not hard to manage just a bit of a pain some Guzzi owners I know have had the software upgrade and fitted the mistral fuel trimmer and that seems to help a lot, but I love this bike it is so much fun, should have the fuel trimmer from Mistral soon Italy shuts down in August😁 don’t you just love the Italians!
