do the new ones still stall at the first junction? My 1090 does every time. Sometimes rolling aloing at 130 mph and pull the clutch and it just stalls too.. Then i just restart and keep going. Slightly bothersome but can live with it

i has to be said, to more you have confidence and the harder you push, the better the bike. if you are hesitant going in corners this is not the bike for you and could be dangerous.

I'm sure your do-it-yourself whatever off-the-shelf clutch install with no integrated electronics is _exactly_ the same as when a company like MV Agusta offers them... 🤦🙄

"I’m not sure if I’d like to be spending a lot of time in the garage constantly cleaning those wheels" I know you didn't ask me, but my opinion is that MV's 800 engine has a great balance of torque and power over the whole rev range. IMO on a bike like that even though it is 'slightly lacking' in lowest-down grunt compared to some larger V-twins etc. it is crazy to say that it would be lacking in any way at all as it's a lightweight and actually still very quick to accelerate even from down low...and likes to ride at slightly higher revs anyway so IMO you might not want to compare acceleration from the very lowest revs exactly equal to bikes that you simply ride differently. Also, with such an incredibly exciting, 'always-wanting-to-go' bike it's a good thing that there is one area where the bike is not absolutely nuts, but is only 'very nuts', so that you can tone down the craziness a bit by keeping the revs low. IMO it feels great when riding on lower revs, and then you have the choice of riding a gear lower and using the very very ample mid-range torque and then letting it go into it's crazy high end which you don't have with many other engine types! The 'just right' low end torque on a light bike transferring seamlessly to very strong mid-range to once again seamless transfer to glorious song of the high revs is exactly the triple's party piece! What's great is also how the engine sound is glorious in different ways through the rev range: twins don't have such an operatic song at high revs and 4-cylinders (except maybe multi-plane-crank ones like R1) don't have such a cool and characterful low end. I personally have noticed that I tend to ride by far the most at low and mid range revs (as anyone would expect), and the MV is extremely exciting riding like that. That's the strength of it: the engine is flawless and exciting enough and above all the chassis is so engaging that you don't have to rely on jail-time/morgue-ticket engine use to get your thrills. Similarly to old-school small 2-stroke sport bikes for example you get your thrills without having to go at lunatic speeds and can have a full-on 'skill-ride', a genuine experience and not be bored, not only relying on the thrill of acceleration as your only source to a high. On public roads basically the high revs are for very brief special circumstances and you don't really have an opportunity or wish to go there at other times...the mid range and above all the amazing feel of the bike's chassis and its exciting immediate responses are more than enough to excite you every time you go out there. And then whenever you CAN really exploit the speed of a sports bike the high revs are there to be tapped instantly and naturally with a seamless feel.

@@fyorbane Haha, why don't you take a course in nut-growing, or find some to begin with. Go read some more brochures, you can whack off to brand names of parts while you pretend those to make a bike. I'm sure you settled with your partner too as your priority is getting one for as low of a price as possible, and think there is never any reason for there to be more value other than in some basic store-bought components.
