Just attended a Porsche Experience event at the local racetrack hosted by a dealership here. It was a blast! We tracker the 992 GTS, Macan GTS, and Cayenne GTS. We also participated in an autocross with the Taycan. The whole event was great but my favorite vehicle was hands down the 911. Never went to the track before but after two laps I felt very comfortable and confident in the 911.

Don't know if it was before or after you filmed it but this had to be the same car I saw when I snuck into their lot before they closed when I was just looking around to kill time and glad you were able to review it. This thing is beautiful in person! And I'm amazed at how quiet it is with it being a Porsche.

It was a very nice Porsche to check out! I do wish it was louder, but that can be fixed! Most Porsche owners probably don't want it crazy loud, but it was a good stock tone!

Don’t get me wrong...I LOVE Porsche. Unfortunately , I would have preferred to see the engine better displayed?! Perhaps a transparent hatch in the future 👌🏽

It's definitely a very cool Porsche model for sure! I don't think I would buy one, it's nice, but I like the exotic cars a little better to own!

What are the pro and cons of comparing this ( or 911 S) to the Audi R8 -RWD?

The R8 will be a step up in performance from this. A GTS or GT3 is more on the level of the R8. 911 is more practical and useable. But the R8 is just as easy to be a daily driver. Just has less space.

I never understood why you guys quote fuel tank capacity and then say what you can expect in MPG, they aren't related. The size if few tank has nothing to do with that rate at which a car burns fuel. The size of the tank gives you the total range (estimated) in miles, has nothing to do with the MPG. If you have a 20 gallon tank and you're getting 20 MPG you have about a 400 mile range.

Obviously the tank size does not determine the fuel consumption. But knowing the fuel tank size and MPG can let people figure out how much range they can achieve. But since both figures are fuel related, we say them together.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed You aren't stating it in a way that would indicated range though, you're stating that you have a XX gallon tank and you can expect XX MPG on the highway. That isn't stated in the context of range. Range would be saying "with a XX gallon tank and with XX MPG you can except range of XXX miles".
