Welcome to Thor Repairs. This video is about my Top 5 most useful and favorite features / options that you may or may not be aware of on my 2021 RAM Rebel 1500 5th Gen. Some of these features I figured out pretty quick and others over time. I hope you enjoy the video and please subscribe. Thanks!

One little known feature. If you tap the turn lever. It will activate turn signals for three flashes.

Awesome Video, Just Built My Rebel a couple Days ago, now I'm just Waiting For It To Be Built And to Receive It. It might take a month or Two, But I Can't Wait. Great Trucks, This Will be my first new truck I've ever owned

Love my 2022 Rebel. Wish it had the driver memory button for the seats and mirrors. Always have to readjust everything which is a pain after the wife drives. The brake assist will scare the heck out of you when you are not expecting it. It sounds awful but it works, I keep mine off. Signal warning on is nice for the old deaf guy. Lots of those out there. Speed warning good for those that do not pay attention to what they are doing when driving. A gimmick to me that has been around for years. Pay attention. Overall the Ram is a sweet truck that distances itself from the competition in my book.

#1 turn off seat belt chimes . Turn on ignition, fast buckle and unbuckle belt 3-6 times , keep bucked and turn off then start it . No more Clanker

My 2020 Rebel has different mirrors, there is a full length outer portion of the mirror that shows all the way down to the ground by the tires without tilting.

On that "signal on" test segment it was -23C! And you didn't even mention it! That's -10F in San Diego (which has never happened) for my 2021 Rebel Eco Diesel. Really enjoy your Rebel videos. And your little Siamese kitty is pretty cool too... Sub #138

@@SylentONE so far, so good! I'm just over 6K in and no issues (what one expects). I got 21.5 MPG on my last tank and get around 15 MPG towing our Kodiak 201QB. It also worked fine going up Berdoo Canyon at Joshua Tree. Hoping it just keeps going because it exceeds all my previous expectations.

Some highway and some city driving I get about 13mpg. Not very good but I knew what I was getting into with a Hemi. 😜

My 16 has the over speed warning-tilt mirror-turn signal warning plus another little item is you can set temperature by touching the audio control button and than say for example set temperature to 72 and it will reset temp, my 11 but not the 16 I could hit unlock button than hit and hold unlock button again and windows would roll down

That’s cool the features have been around longer than I thought. My last truck I drove for 10yrs and was a 2011 RAM sport. It didn’t have any of those features. 👍🏻👍🏻

Does your ram rebel have the air suspension?

@@michaelmason48 it sounds like your having issues with your air suspension. I’m not sure what would be the best route for you. Maybe someone else on here could chime in.

Can the required tire pressure be programmed to 5 over the recommended pressure.

Not that I know of. Perhaps it’s something after markets guys can do with an OBD program.

What do you guys recommend? 5.7L or 3.0 Ecodiesel? I'm going to hardly ever tow. So I was wondering whether the diesel is worth it. The sound ans power of the 5.7 is something I really like, but I also don't want to empty my pockets at the pump all the time. Do you really save that much money with the 3.0 eco?

I’m not too sure which is better but diesel fuel where I live is more money then Gasoline. I tow a 25.5 foot pontoon boat and dump trailer with my 5.7 with no problems. 👍

@@thorrepairs6557 Diesel and Regular are pretty much the same price where I live. The consumption is less on the diesel, but I really want that power and sound with the 5.7L. I know you said you tow, but how many mpg do you usually get when not towing, if you have a rough estimate. And around how many miles would you say you can go on a full tank?

I have the ECO. I drive 50 miles a day and put 100 in every two weeks. That's without towing anything mind you. Also 100.00 does not fill up the tank as gas stations have limits on your Debit/Credit card. Absolutely love. Sold my Dodge SRT8 Challenger to buy this. Thought I would miss her but I love the truck better especially sitting in San Diego traffic for hours.

I just received my 2021 rebel in the Middle East and I've found it is missing some functions, like the titling mirrors , no rear view mirror cam, no front camera etc . annoying.

Ya that’s a check mark that wasn’t made when ordering. Mine doesn’t have the rear view mirror cam and front cam also. Your still gonna love the truck👍

I can see how someone would think that but it’s awesome. It is so user friendly and also still has knobs and real button if you still prefer that. 👍🏻

holy shit why is the tires so low? did you change your wheels? stock wheels that came with my 2021 ram rebel needs 80 psi cold

Holy shit Mr Robles you don’t know how to properly set tire pressure. The max allowable cold pressure for the tire is on the side wall. The correct tire pressure for the truck is in the owners manual or on the door jamb sticker which both indicate 33 psi. Since the OEM Goodyear Duratracs are load range E with a max load of 3640 lbs. per tire the tire needs to be inflated to 80 psi to hold max load. The half ton rebel has a payload of 1804 lbs. less then half the max capacity of one tire. All that extra air in the tire with out the load is just going to prematurely wear out the center tread of your tires and make your truck ride rough. But you probably already knew all that.
