have they fxed the IDF issue? I've read of a few people getting stuck out on the water do to some kind of failure with the IDF system.

Has anyone from New England tried fishing on one of these or on a previous year’s model at cape cod, ma? If so, how comfortable was it fishing while sitting in front or on the side of the pwc? I’ve seen a few videos of these people from Florida and Nee Zealand deep sea fishing on these and they’ve seemed to have handled it well. Although, I’m not sure how the currents from those areas compare to cape cod. -Matt

Maybe this question has been asked already and I missed it but what is the length and width of the fish pro sport from the tip of the trailer to the farthest back point of the ski? Also the width of the wheels of the trailer? I want to know if this will fit in my garage?

Hi, I'm trying to find out if I use the 9 trolling mode to get about 1.5 mph. Another guy kept telling me how fast you can troll when I kept ask how slow. Please try to answer in mph if you can. Something like "pretty slow" can mean 5 mph to one person and 1 mph to another. Thanks.

Can you actually drive it on and off the trailer? I thought we weren't supposed to run the engine in anything less than 3 feet? I guess its ok if the ramp is clean because low chance of sucking anything up?

Exactly. You’re usually over a concrete ramp and you’re not hammering on the throttle so likelyhood of sucking something up while you skid up your trailer is slim to none. I do it all the time

Have the issues with IDF been resolved? there are lots of negative reviews regarding people left stranded in the middle of the ocean/lakes, that is a no go for me, I was sold on the fish pro, before I heard of these issues, like you I live in Palm Beach and a quick trip to Bahamas or spend a day fishing miles off shore sounds heavenly but not with the risks and horror stories I am hearing, Whats your experience. with this? have Sea Doo address. these issues?

Ya I did to I'm in Florida untill April I called seedoo and started a claim to track it its saposted to be at the dealer this week we will see there fking with peoples life hear looks like everyone in Australia got theres they probably sell ours to new customers and when the last ones come in then sell them to us bull shit

I have cash set aside to buy one of these, but for some reason seadoo won't put the 300 in the fish pro. Heck yeah I'm going fishing, but I want to go fast from fishing hole to fishing hole. As soon as they put a 300 in, I'll go sign on the dotted line. The others don't offer anything like this

Good luck in those shallow water spots... The water intake port will get clogged with weeds and it's much harder to clean than an open prop

it also has an extremely wide and large hull st3. Built for the ocean. check out Andrew Hill fishing, he has one and uses it in bigger than 1ft waves while fishing.

For that kind of money we are paying We need MORE POWER LIKE 300hp turbo supercharged. But as far as access to the storage it is absolutely excellent good work sea doo. Very smart engineers at the Sea-Doo but the best motors they have should be placed in this unit Love the light colors so it could be visible and also the dashboard should have LED lights and I can’t understand why jet skis do not have anchor lights on marker lights what happens if the weather gets bad and the sun goes down it’s always good to be prepared anyway keep up the good work Sea-Doo

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzfaq.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Couldn’t justify a fishing “boat” that I can’t operate in the morning before sunrise, or have to be back before sunset. I’m not sure if only florida treats personal watercraft this way, but it seems it’s probably countrywide.

You could technically do this if there was like rods you attach on the side of the ski that go up and then back towards the middle-end of your seat, and then down in the foot wells there was buttons you attach so water doesn’t get in down to your feet. But I’d just buy a boat!

You can do the SAME thing for a LOT less money by rigging your own ski with a fish finder, cooler, ect. Lot's of video's on here showing people who have done just that.
