In this video we go over my 2021 Chevy Silverado with a muffler delete. I chose to do this over a Flowmaster because I haven't had a straight pipe muffler delete before. Let me know what you think!

I have the same truck in red, also did the same exhaust.... I love it. A little drone but I always have the radio on so it’s not an issue.

If you dial it into race mode with that knob above your x2 4high buttons, the drone is less on the highway.

Ever since my 2013 that all i do is muffler delete, they sound great!!!

Truck sounds great! Look into grabbing a Range Technology AFM/DFM disabler (for 5.3). Keeps the truck a V8 all the time and you won’t get that drone at highway cruising speeds.

I highly recommend it. Also prevents lifter failure!

Adding any tires soon or keeping the Duratracs to see how they do? Imo they’re just fine, a lot of people don’t like them but they seem to do just perfect.

I’m getting my wheels and tires (GoodYear Ultra Terrain AT) from my old truck next week when the lift kit goes on.

I'm waiting for a 2021 Trail Boss with 6.2L to arrive at my dealer. I've wasted way too much time on KZfaq looking at exhaust videos. I want deep, rumble, maybe a little gurgle... but not super loud. And I don't want drone. So hard to tell on video if there's drone or not. Been looking at doing the Flowmaster Flow FX 3" to 3". Exhaust Addicts in Tennessee seem to like them and it sounds good on KZfaq. lol So hard without seeing/hearing them in person.

I got lucky, a 2021 trailboss custom showed up at a local dealer, with the 6.2l double cab, and a few other nice options on it, had 18k miles on it, i went and bought it, paid $42,500 otd. Felt like i got a good deal

How many miles do you get per fill up? And what size gas tank do you have

It’s got a tiny little 24gal tank unfortunately. I get about 300 per tank.

Did that make your check engine light come on?You cut the flapper off also i was told it would cause issues with back pressure.I have a 2021 wanting to delet muffler but getting different information from people.

No check engine light, that back pressure myth is BS, won’t affect a thing.

One more question do you leave the A button on or do you turn it off or foes it even matter?

@@jaywaldak4420 My 2021 doesn’t have auto stop but my 2019 did. The range chip I had in it automatically disabled it.

No, there aren’t any after the muffler.

@@herculesfrost8712 You can’t outright void a warranty. Anything related to my muffler is “probably” voided, but if i blow out a differential they can’t deny that claim.

Did any dash lights come on? And did you also remove the remove vents from back of muffler to tail pipe?

@@postman89 No dash lights.. I covered the rear mesh resonators with high temp aluminum tape..
