I bought a blaster box of update today and pulled a black gold Mike trout and a rookie bebut of Ryan mountcastle photo variation of Francisco lindor I can't complain it was a nice box

Kelenic and India are the tops 2 rookies in this set. You will see a RC on one of the corners on the front of the card and then you will know it’s a rookie card.

@@OgreBreaks just finished opening my blaster! I got about 33 rookies out of 99 cards, i also hit a gold edge Billy Hamilton and a black gold foil Jarred Kelenic Rookie😁

That was a pretty nice photo variation to pull! He's on a solid team and looking forward to seeing how he does next season. Not sure if it's true but Topps may still have hobby boxes of these available on their website.

Sleeve every card you open reguardless of who or what. 1979 I only put popular cards in binder. Little did I know that Ozzie Smith was worth more than all of the ones I protected. Same for my 1980s and Rickey Henderson. Card collection can be strange.

I just put them back into the packages, and reuse the blaster boxes as storage, that way if i ever need a card from a specific year and box set i can just grab it without searching all the cards.

Are the Black Gold cards valuable? I got a couple of them.

Some are worth a couple of dollars. The low numbered ones are worth more. It was an insert set that I liked a lot when they came out in the 90’s so I’m putting the set together for myself.

There are one in every 21 packs I believe. I love them because they were a favorite of mine in the early 90’s.

I'll be able to retire comfortably if Ryan Mountcastle, Dylan Carlson and Nate Pearson ever become good. I get at least one of those guys out of every single pack of cards I buy
