@@carsunlocked yup. pop on some headphones.. usually just a pan setting in Premier, depending on how you recorded it. Makes it really hard to listen to. Probably not that noticeable on a laptop or phone..but.. :)

Second! Most of us are shocked by the immense size. In the olden days, the 4Runner was on the Tacoma chassis. The 2021 4Runner is on Toyota's Land Cruiser Prado (not sold in US) chassis, thus its hugeness. The Nightshade Edition is equivalent to the Highlander Platinum AWD Edition and both are priced about the same. "Limited" was Toyota's highest trim but now we have Platinum (soon, Uranium.....kidding!). I am disappointed with the MPG of the 4Runner (16/19)which the Highlander (20/27) wins by a landslide. Yes, Chris is 5'9", but even if he was standing on a step stool, the truck would still appear immense. Thanks Chris!

The 4Runner is designed so only the passenger side is accessible to third row. That seat automatically slides forward when you lift up on the latch.

toy-o-ta. also, the other side is the preferred/designated entry point for the 3rd row - you opened on the opposite side. there isn't blindspot warning, only LDA

I plan to buy the 4Runner later this year, or the Highlander. Both are nice and would be a major upgrade from my 2020 Honda CRV.

5 speed transmission. You can turn LD off, It's a beast and a dinosaur but the seats and the ride are just awesome, so solid and aggressive in style, it has it's purpose but gas mileage is a killer over say a highlander, which this definitely is not. just a tried and true solid vehicle.

Blind spot warning? Certainly not in the US. By the way, you are supposed to get into the third row from the other side. The second row seat pivots up with a lever.

With Gas prices going up the 4Runner is not very gas friendly. But awesome suv though. At 58K and with fair credit can this vehicle be affordable??

The right side was designed for easy entry to the third row seats. But yea both sides need to be functional in case of baby car seats that needs to be on the right back seat. I wish the mileage was better and the interior had more luxury since it's a limited.

This must be a Canadian thing because I want that exact same model with the 3rd row and here in the US you can only get the Auto Runners on the Blizzard pearl color so I have to special order the metallic gray if I want auto running boards. This is the 2nd vid I've seen with a metallic gray 4 runner night shade that has auto running boards on it. 1st vid was also a Canadian vid. Thanks for the video.

Chose the limited over this cause of the running board. It’s automatic which means one more thing that’ll break. Wish they had non moving running board

I dont get it.....N. American cars seem to be getting bigger and bigger, while Europes and Japans seem to be holding steady....I know we are generally larger folk, but the carbon footprint on these puppies is huge....not to mention initial cost, and the cost of fuel. People must be earning really big money to purchase these sized vehicles, have a mortgage and raise kids. But would I drive one if I could afford it?.....probably.....
