I loved watching your vision board process. It’s so much fun seeing how everyone does a vision board and it gave me ideas on approaching mine differently this year...and a new word of the year idea too! Thank you so much for sharing and being a bright light!

I’ve always loved the idea of vision boards but never made one myself, but I think 2020 made me want to make one for 2021! It’s funny I’m watching this now because I made a type of vision boards about a week ago for next year!

@@DarianPlans It’s a lot more plain, just words in little bubbles but I thought it would be nice to color each bubble in as I achieve that goal! I guess it’s more of a yearly goals that a vision board lol

My favorite seminary professor had an anecdote about laughter that I thought you might like - “We spend our lives trying to find order among the chaos; we value control, sameness, a steady hand, and what is knowable about the world because with order comes security. Chaos is disorder. It cannot be planned or prepared for; it is overwhelming when we stop long enough to know, think, and feel how truly unknowable and uncontrollable our present and future are. Order, therefore, is the goal. But what about laughter? Laughter interrupts our orderly routines. It intervenes in our carefully planned out day to reintroduce us to joy. It cannot be contained or ever fully explained. It can be a prophetic voice too - pointing out the absurd and ironic. Laughter is God’s reminder that the world is chaotic, but we do not need to be afraid. Laughter is a gift; it is the light our hearts see by.”

I absolutely LOVED this! Thank you so much for sharing your process. This year will be the first year that I am really intentional in setting up my vision board and I plan on doing something similar to what you did with pictures from this past year. This made me really excited to work on my own vision board!
