Thanks for comment, I changed the rear sprocket from 38 to 40.

Traffic girls with CB 1300s get into the tightest corners faster. Is it a matter of experience or the CB though which heavy has a better tight cornering setup?

I've never ridden a CB1300, so I don't know. All I can say is that it's not the bike, but the settings and technique that matter to balance. Most people can't ride it without practice.
