Slow Pulp are the openers for Alvvays' "Blue Rev" tour. Prior to seeing them live, I went on the Internet to check out their music and read several articles about them.
I found out they were originally from Madison, WI and have relocated to Chicago. They have an AudioTree performance that was impressive and made me want to record their set. I felt Alvvays chose a great complementary act the audience would enjoy. While watching this video, you can see everyone showing their appreciation.
Unfortunately, the Slow Pulp set was around 30 minutes-ish. Their discography consists of EPs and an album but I'm thinking time limitations and wanting to play their strongest material? Either way, I wished they played longer.
I'm glad to have recorded this set and hope you enjoy them as much as we did while waiting for Alvvays.
