Love your car and respect your choices. Excellent review. Watched Nick’s video. Ordered a GTS despite a 4 month wait for delivery. Don’t care about the GTS badge. Didn’t order the prominent exterior GTS badging or interior “GTS” badging on the seats. I also spent more money to have the side blades painted the same exterior color so if anything it looks LESS like a GTS than your S does. So I don’t think it’s fair to suggest that anyone ordering a GTS just wants the badge. I simply wanted the additional HP and torque for all 50k of the warranty, and tuned by Porsche engineers instead of waiting 4 yrs/50k for an aftermarket Cobb tune. Different strokes for different folks, and nothing but respect for those who choose an S. Tons of review videos suggest the S is the “sweet spot.” Check out the Straight Pipes review if you haven’t already. Love those guys. Also enjoyed your review. Keep up the good work and enjoy your ride.

Great looking car! Totally agree that the S is basically the GTS with a few cosmetic changes, performance is nearly identical between the two. Ordered my S and should be coming next month, can't wait!

Congratulations, beautiful car. I just got a 2022 Chalk Macan S with similar options, your rims look nicer than mine, and I went for gloss black handles which look ok, but better without. Thanks for sharing.

We got our Macan S 5 weeks ago. I do love it and was looking for better mats, thank you. I went a bit over board on options so it was pricey but damn it drives amazingly. It's my wife's car and then I have a truck so its the perfect car combo in the driveway. The Macan S is the best driving car I have owned and I have owned some nice ones. The only bad think so far is the backup camera is way too low.

That is a usb-c cable. Also wireless carplay drains my battery fast. I don't think the wireless charging can charge it fast enough with wireless carplay active. Love the spec. I ordered the same color.

Great walk thru video. I currently have 2019 Macan GTS. Gonna go Macan EV 2023-2024 and spec out very close to yours. Love that chalk with high gloss accents. Thanks for review

Sweet Ride Jim and nice review. I have the same vehicle but in Black with very similar options selections. I’ve had a few Q5’s with the V6 supercharger (2014) and this is my first Porsche; the performance is incredible and the air suspension is everything that you’ve mentioned. Anyhow, enjoy the ride! One big extra you get with the GTS is the PCSB brakes. Much easier to keep rims clean. You opted so many GTS items that you almost could have gotten the GTS

OK… very helpful yes your S is a lot like a GTS but I noticed that you didn’t opt for an Interior Package with Deviated Stitching which is available on the S as well. It’s included in the GTS Sport Package at a reduced cost. I wondered about that… if you could get the S and just add the same options. I ended up pretty close… you pay more for the same options and there are some things that you just don’t get on the S. So it seems like you get a better value out of the GTS and even if people say the power isn’t noticeable… you can still be lower in the GTS. That seems to make it more like a sports car experience… but you do need to get it on the open road for that to be enjoyable Either way I do like a lot of things you selected here and at a decent price too

Add $200 and order the Zensport radiator grills (outer only) from England. Easy to install and keep road junk from damaging the chilling fins on the radiators. I added them to my Boxster GTS and my 911 992 Carrera S as well. No rocks. Insects. Birds. Truck tread chucks.

Thanks for the video, I really liked it. I love that color but since it was kind of expensive, i opted for the Papaya on my 2022 Macan S. it's on the vessel to US-East coast right now and it should be here in one or two weeks. Can you please share your build code?, the price of my Macan S was 89K plus and I didnt get that color and I also regret I didnt add the Black Roof Rails. After that, mine looks like your Macan as far as specifications.

Great review. I have a Turbo without the extra badging as well. Great choice on the 18 way seats. There should not be any micro USB ports in the vehicle. Likely USB-C. That's what I have in mine but it's a 2021.

I just can't option the S the way I want it without basically being right near my GTS range price. Like $5k difference. Also, GTS has chassis changes over the S, so it's not just engine tuning difference.

GTS has 434hp S is 375hp...that is a big difference. Did you delete the model name off back hoping people would think you were driving a GTS?

I'm going by the dealer this week, and I’m leaning rowards the S. That being said, there is a considerable difference between the two. The GTS produces 434 hp, and the S $375 hp-thats a difference of 59 hp. The GTS is faster. The GTS sits 10 millimetres lower, comes with air suspension, and lower profile tires. The GTS handles better. There are visual differences too. Anyways, both are great cars and you can get the air suspension on the S, but your claim that they’re the same is false. The GTS is tuned and tweaked to be more of a drivers car than the S, T, or base Macan. ✌🏼

Jesus, if you’ve spent $88K on a S, you should’ve just waited for the GTS. A fully loaded GTS is about $93K and has 60 HP more. But if you like it then that’s all it matters. Congrats! Looks sharp!

Why get 20k options when you can get a GTS with most of these options as standard…. GTS the better model

Definitely get the S over the GTS, the performance difference is abysmal. Not a fan of chalk, looks like a dirty white. Get GT silver instead
