Here we take an in-depth look at the new 2022 Chevrolet Express 2500 Explorer Conversion Van. This Explorer Conversion Van is a triple black model, (black paint, black diamond stitched leather, and black 20" aluminum wheels. The powertrain consists of the newer 6.6 liter naturally aspirated V8 gas burning engine mated to a 6-speed heavy duty automatic transmission.

I was talking about that very topic with a buddy from work. When you think about it a lot of vehicles don’t need to be changed. Why mess with time tested true design. I like this look. I have a 1st gen Colorado and I think it’s the best looking gen. 2004-2012.

Its absolutely insane that GM hasn't changed there full sized van in 20 years. Especially since most rest of their lineup is very advanced as of late.

i have several of them. They actually change quite often as much as there trucks, powertrain wise. But the body has not changed. If I am a fleet customer, I want my vans to look the same, whether is a 2022, 2012, or 2005.

they've changed a little bit, updated powertrains, interior got a refresh sometime in the 2010s and the newer ones even have blind spot monitors.

we have a 2015 express 2500. not the explorer and we have 391000 miles and still running strong. I love it.

The dashboard needs to be like a Denali! If that happens, oh and a Camera rear view mirror then it would be almost perfect! It's nice as is but a little more modernization and the ability to adjust the rear climate in the rear, dual zone climate control up front, and a matching Dog house cargo trailer to pull luggage and purchased, tint and blind the high roof windows, add some color changing leds slap a straight 100k to the entire rig and I'm sold, oh yeah update the Guage cluster too, throw in a tach and a color display, for Christ sake, my 2021 base model malibu has more updates up front! Come on GM, make it happen for the Vans, if not for all of them, do it for the explorer conversions, trust me, ppl would gladly pay for it, I would!

Explorer does an amazing job with vans. Believe it or not they sell VERY quickly from the short list of remaining dealers. The GM vans and the Ford E series cutaways are getting long in the tooth. They remain tried and true, rock solid, and plastic bumper free. There is a reason why you see more GM and E series utilized by ambulance and RV manufacturers.

Very nice van even though the body looks older. My first new panel van was a 1974 model that cost $3363.00 out the door. Times sure have changed. Of course most of these options did not exist at the time.

I know there are various transmissions, I know from the cargo van style the transmissions shift so smoothly you can’t even feel it only hear the engine rpm!!! I’m talking at least 2021 it was a rental!!!

I have a 2019 Chevy 2500, Express Exployer Conversion Van and I absolutely love it. The only issue I take with the vehicle is the damn LED Fog Lights. For some reason, the LED Fog Lights keep burning out.

This model year came out in 2003 and GM hasn’t bothered to update it. This goes both for GMC Savana, Chevrolet Express is nothing but GM parts bin. Old school key ignition, old school interior door handles that has been used on chevy suburban model years 1992 to 1999.

They came out in 96 and have since changed the front headlights, grilles, bumpers, and the interior. They use the same door handles any gm truck 1995 to 99. Yet they are pretty dated still and not everything about the engineering and build quality is the greatest. But they do run and drive usually pretty good

I'm sure they can be transferred there by a dealership or mechanic connection, I've seen Nissan Skylines in America with the original Japanese right side steering wheel on the roads legally here, even though we put ours on the left except for our mail delivery trucks, you just have to put it under the proper registration for the Certificate of Origin and it can be on the road in the UK, if you want it bad enough you could make it happen.

Oh! I almost forgot. Hope they fix the issue with the tires, because with the 2019's the tires had to be replace due to the steering wheel vibrating at speeds 50 mph 🙄

It's not the tires. The whole suspension needs to be retrofitted. I have one and have been through it. Cannot believe there has not been a class action suit about this. super dangerous.
