The older model had a very nice original attractive exterior .The newer one looks nice also but resemble a lot of current models out there.

I like them both equally, but I like the older model exterior looks better and the newer model interior looks & design better.

Why is the old one looks better. The new one looks like a Mazda cx9.

Great analysis and a super car. I am pretty happy with my 2017 MDX Advance. The car is reliable and has great utility. If Acura would look to rival Lexus in service, they'll be unstoppable.

Acura MDX is a great car for long drives, adverse weather and fun to drive. I own a 2011 MDX SH-AWD and i love my car. I am considering a replacement with another MDX.

My wife and I bought this car a few weeks ago and it truly is an amazing car. The dash and the control panel being near the wrist rest is so comfortable. It drives amazing and the features work very well. The only issue I have is some features that seem to be easy to add don’t get added unless you buy the higher end model. An example is the full camera when backing up.

If you like the outgoing model, now’s a great time to get a solid deal for one. (Came down to that or a Cadillac XT6 for me, though I went with the latter.) Just saying.

Good job Acura, but not great job. Some of the features in the Advance trim needs to trickle down to the A Spec. Acura should've put metal speakers in the back. The 25 speakers that will be in the Type S, should be in the Advance.

Are the 3rd row seats more spacious in nee version?

Not quite sure about that new information screen. Just from the views in this video, it looks like it would be subject to some glare issues. I have a 2020 MDX and even though the 2-screen setup may look dated, both screens are very usable and I really haven't had any glare issues. Anyone with a 2022 MDX ? What's your experience with that larger screen?

The front seats have a wider space, the dash is pulled down so it feels much more spacious in the front seats.

I like Acuras especially MDX, mine is 2008 MDX with 300 hp 3.7L , I wish they add more horse power to the new ones 🤦👊✊

This vehicle appears to have allot going for it. Impressive looks in and out. But I think the no touch screen, or rather the Acura True TouchPad Interface is a deal breaker for me. Unfortunate as it's a nice car to consider owning otherwise.

Has the rear entertainment option been deleted?

If I had to build my mdx.. I will take the 3.8 ltr and the body weight of the 2 gen mdx. I find the 3 gen a bit too light in the back end.. I had a 07 elite and it did not matter how much I tried to fish tail the rear the mdx was having none of it

The new MDX is really nice SUV great improvement over the out going model. But it has to show good reliablity because Acura has not been very good past few years. It has prove on reliability.

I like the way it shows the speed limit on the dash. Sometimes I change speed limits or am in an area I don't know and it's handy to check. My 2016 MDX has the auto heat/cooled seats feature, so that's not new. But so, so glad it's a button and not on a touchscreen! Excited to get traffic info on maps when driving. Often I would have my phone and car navigating at the same time. My passenger would tell me traffic info while the car would allow me to easily look over and see which lane I need to be in. If I didn't have a passenger it was much more difficult.

Acura never seemed like luxury brand to me. It’s more like a premium brand, like a Buick or something .

The 2022 exhaust system is ugly like the previous generation, I like the 2021 exhaust system much more compare to the new. The Acura shouldn't use the old design

Even though the new one is a huge improvement, it's till nowhere near the best in the segment. Cars like the BMW X5, Mercedes GLE, Genesis GV80 and Lincoln Aviator are all better.
