There are a quite a few racers/riders up here that have the RS660 and love it. I have heard a lot of really good feedback on the performance handling. The easiest way to tell is how big a smile it gives..... you had a big ol' smile on your face when you came in. Thanks for sharing and keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁 Randy

Totally agree! I intended on only going out for 2-3 laps but I had the track to myself and decided to go ahead and get familiar with it, after about the 3rd or 4th lap I really settled into it and was able to enjoy it the entire session. Excellent bike 💯

Awesome middle weight for sure! I'd have one any day. Why were you changing up with the clutch cos it has quickshift so you keep the pinned going up and auto-blip for downshifts. Quickshift is awesome on the Aprilias.

Looked at getting the 2024 Aprilia® RS 660 Trofeo Edition Track Model. They’re great bikes. Price wise I ended up getting a Panigale V2.

It honestly felt very similar positioning to the 2017 cbr1000rr I rode, wide tank, but it’s a little taller even than my gsxr750

It´s a beautiful bike, really striking. It really needs another 15hp though. 115hp in such a light bike would be a weapon for the street.

Another 15 HP doesn't add that much lol -- it's got all the torque where you want it. Doing more w/less makes you a better rider, riders who can send a Ninja 400 at track and carry their speed gap 1000s all the time. The 660 is very adqeuate in the power/weight ratio and a full exhaust sys/flash drops like 7 more pounds and get the fueling right. In the right hands it's a very fast bike. They're notorious in CA at this point at the track as capable and in tighter tracks actually leave the traditional 600 behind because of how it makes it's power on corner exit. That all said... never can go wrong with a cbr600 or gsxr600/750 and maintenance will be better lol
