The "Vorsprung Edition" is limited on the extras but you can order many extras if you don't get an "Vorsprung-Edition". #1 We can order other wheels, there are 3 types you can choose: the glossy black ones with the print, satin black ones (same as the glossy ones but without the print) and another design in silver #2 We can order the round steering wheel or the flat bottom one. Both are available in leather or alcantara (you can also order them with red or green stitching) #3 We can order carbon-exterieurparts like the side skirts, the mirrors and the spoiler on the back of the sedan or on top of the sportback #4 The "fake-vent" on the front of the car is just a styling-hommage to the old sport quattro who had the 3 vents on the front of the hood #5 The gloss black interior is really a pain, i hate it. Many owners (even A3/S3-owners) put self-adhesive alcantara on the part around the middle console, looks much better that way and is easy to install 😄 I ordered my RS 3 Sedan in the same color like yours but with the flat-bottom steering wheel in alcantara with red stitching and also black leather but with red stitching 👍

The black plastic around the gear selector really does my head in! Purely for the fact that the people designing these cars clearly don’t have any idea about any other cars on the market apart from the one they’re designing. The Tesla model 3 made this mistake way back in 2017 which has now been rectified. Mercedes guilty also - same mistake in their new C class. The designers ought to watch reviews like these to gain some intel about what they’re doing wrong. Woeful!

What happened to the days when you could spec extra options on top of the trim level you selected. The only option the Vorsprung has got in its favour above the Carbon black (for my preference, ceramic discs don't float my boat ) is a sunroof. The carbon black you can spec a round steering wheel above a flat bottom one (don't know why you would). Manufacturers stop palming your crap fixed trim levels off on the public. Just have a base model and let the public add the options.

Damn, 5000 pounds for ceramic brakes? I have a deposit down on one in the states, but haven’t selected options yet because it’s not available. I won’t be going for ceramics though. That’s too damn much. Plus, I have them on my current car and they seem to randomly squeak a lot Congrats though. I’m gonna go with black, but that gray would be my 2nd choice. It’s a great color

I decided to keep my old one. Didnt like the colour options so I'd need to go exclusive, cost to change was about £20k , not worth it. However that daytona grey is one I did consider and its definitely the best stock colour. Not sure about the rear honeycomb, but its the interior I don't like, seems cheap and a scratch fingerprint magnet , as for the round steering wheel, what a joke

Those carbon ceramics are honestly just a huge money grab from Audi, you kind of made a 5000$ mistake with that option. The carbon ceramics have been an issue for many people in the last 4-5 years whether its in the TTRS, RS7, RS3 etc., the only real advantage they have over steel is that 1. theres less brake dust if youre tracking the car, and 2. theyre lighter and 3. theyre SUPPOSED to last longer. The only problem is for most people, only #1 was true. People have had their ceramics overheat after a single day at the track even though they followed every single thing Audi said about breaking them in and tracking them. Theyd have the glue between the pads melt, and sometimes also have the wiring harness melt that run through there for monitoring your brake performance. Apparently the issue is that theres little to no airflow available to the brakes to cool them down, there are some modifications people have made so that the brakes can get better airflow but most people end up just replacing them with a big steel brake, the only real advantage the carbon ceramics give is being slightly lighter tbh.

I’ll take a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing over this & keep my man card in the process.
