Installed the newly designed AWE Touring Edition catback exhaust on my 2022 Subaru BRZ! This 3" exhaust goes well with the upgraded 2.4L in the 2nd gen BRZ/GR86... What do you guys think? Been waiting onna greddy evo gt since april. I'm really getting sick of waiting, but i like this track edition. I wanna bag my 2022 in December i'd have to work about the greddy tapping the ground when i air out cus it sits soo low, but this one doesn't and sounds similar. Thanks for posting this bro!

Honestly love them both. And ironically I feel the first set up you showed has more rasp then the second one even though it was quieter. I think the tone is way different, but I love the new sound, it’s super smooth sounding. Can’t wait to hear them with some uel headers 🤘

3 inch exhaust is the only way to go! I would get a 3”muffler with the 4” in exhaust tip makes it sounds way more deeper & less ricer.

Much love, love the vids. However, the camera zoom in and out is so scratchy and click-y with headphones on. Not sure if there’s a fix for that but just wanted to let ya know my experience as a viewer. The BRZ is coming along really nicely! Congrats!

If anyone is shopping exhausts for the 86 and is determined to get an AWE system, I have Tomei UEL catless header and tried the track. Way to loud, really fun because it screams, but the noise makes the car sound a lot faster than it is from a distance so you feel a bit goofy. Picked up the touring today, much more livability while still being able to sound mean on a hard acceleration. The cold starts on both are nightmarishly loud though, either have to get a tune to get rid of it, or rev the engine up slightly above 2k for 20-30 so people in the next neighborhood aren't listening to your exhaust too.

AWE is much louder and is 3” diameter. MXP is I believe 2.5” so it’s not as loud. Also MXP has mufflers and the AWE doesn’t.
