Been waiting so long for you to feature the C8. I own a 22 C8 convertible and love it.

I got my C8 early last month after a 14mo wait for MSRP. 1LT $70,265. It’s been a great car so far. Am amazing value if you hold off on luxury features.

Great review man! Love the quality of the video, the editing, the audio quality and graphics. My lil brother has a c8 convertible spec out and it’s a phenomenal car but i personally still prefer my Gen1 R8 Spyder with more of an analog feel. 😎🤙🏼

Best car I’ve ever owned. I was fortunate enough to get my 2021 Z51 coupe at MSRP. Checked every box (except upgraded wheels where I went aftermarket) and my 3LT came in at $88k. Not sure it’s even feasible to get a C8 below $75k these days. Unless it’s severely used or a bare bones spec.

I'll be ready to get a C8 in two or three years once the warranty on my GT350 is up hopefully prices will even out by then I really want a black on black convertible

Haven't been here since the Lexus LC500 review, but wow, the production is still top notch quality, it's made for cinema view still too. That exhaust note is just beautiful, the interior is almost perfect & I've noticed the music coupled with your voice could probably put me to sleep hahaha.

We love our 2023 3LT HTC non-Z51 Arctic White with magnetic ride, front lift, performance exhaust, front splitter, black exhaust tips, two tone (black/red) interior and carbon flash painted top, nacelles, low spoiler, mirrors, intake blades, and wheels is the perfect car for us. We will never track it and it’s capable of more performance than we will ever need. Our 2nd Corvette and the best vehicle this 76yo has ever driven. I do not miss the manual transmission in our C6, this DCT is incredibly fast and smooth.

So glad you’re back!! I have a 2018 C7 ZO6 A8. I was excited when they announced the C8 ZO6, but I guess I’ll have to wait. In the mean time, I’ll enjoy the “old school” C7 and the thrust of the supercharger.

I’ve owned 3 C8’s all at MSRP. 2 coupes with Z51 and mag ride. Now in a HTC without Z51 and mag ride. However do have performance exhaust. This is the car for me. $76,857 MSRP. Bargain car for what you get. Rear low profile spoiler and front splitter. Looks better then the Z51 rear goofy looking spoiler. Never going to track the car so this combination is the best IMO.

Not getting the Z51 package is a mistake. Base = Buick sedan. Z51 = sports car. Mag ride ups the performance in corners. Just my biased opinion. Thanks for the classy review.

C8 is slower because aero is tuned for downforce and heavier than the C7, and the C7 was heavier than the C6. The DCT makes it fast and the mid engine makes it launch so well.

Ciocca is turning out new orders in 3-4 months. At MSRP. If your not on a list and with a decent number, Z is unattainable at MSRP. But base car now is.

Just Subbed, Great produced review. Its funny you did the same thing I did. I also signed up for the C8 a while back and I got so mad of the waiting and the game that some dealerships did. Its was like they were bypassing me even though I had a low number on there list. At the Time I gave up and just got a C7 z51 and had a ball with it. Looking back though I should have waited a little more. When I gave up though I found one of the top 10 dealers taking deposits for future car @ msrp. So now Im early on the E-ray list. So hopefully I should have a c-8 Finally at the end of this year......maybe.

For the money its a good car even with the dealer markups. However I would prefer the Z06 or a C7 ZR1 to this car.

I’ve gotta say two things: 1. Just discovered the channel and love it! 2. At the risk of sounding like a hater, I just don’t get the appeal of this car to a car enthusiast. I find the design too heavy looking and schizophrenic. Also, the amount of them and drivers thinking they are driving a Ferrari is a huge turnoff to me. I miss the C6.

Thing is the C4 was technically a mid engine car with a digital dash(earlier years) I think the C5 even had a Heads Up Display. So they more or less back some features rather than adding new ones.

As someone whose balling on a budget would you recommend even looking at the base c8? Comparing your model and the base is depressing I’m someone who does like all the bells and whistles but can’t afford a 3lt atm.

194 top speed in the non Z51. 495 hp with the performance exhaust. Read the manual before you do a review. More exhaust sound in the HTC then the coupe.

Did I miss the explainer of how the C8 is the Rolex of cars? I thought this would be more of a Tissot, Oris, or Hamilton.

Z51 coupe will do 0 to 60 in 2.8.....many people have done it....HTC is slower and yours was down on power at 490 and not 495 being a non Z51

I’ve always loved your videos- truly! But, the C8 looks like 3-4 different designers had blinders on and a supervisor said, Ok let’s stick those designs together and see what we have: the front has too many odd shapes in its lines, the sides don’t transition all that well and the back looks like it’s missing something. I’ll keep my C7 thank you.

ALL C8 Y chassis cars outclass the competitors having a neutral handling chassis to start with. The stingray can be tuned by owners to be on a 991.2 GT3 level track performance car FOR DIRT CHEAP. The top end is all about the way it breathes, and airbox and exhaust eliminate that problem.

On autotrader there's 164 c8s 100 miles around my area compare to just 34 bmw m3s and 25 718 caymans. The C8s are sitting in lots and not selling, these stealerships will need to lower the price eventually. They are not really in "demand" as all these hype says. Unlike Rolex you cant even get a no date sub without a 2 year waitlist.
