I have cable and trust me, I'm glad people put the videos up too. There's a million commercials to go through and it's so much better to be able to watch at your own pace

Actually Bart and Kathy should be doing the Olympic Coverage. It is a travesty they haven't been. Their skillset is significantly better than what we are used to.

@@pappysprite Ollie Hogben is also a fantastic commentator on the international scene. Absolutely a great one to take cues from.

@@lnisme0295 That may be but they are significantly better without question. Another good pick would be Amanda Borden. She is very good. But the best gymnastics commentator in the world in my opinion is Christine Still from the UK.

@@kimthreadgold2755 and that means we need to hear it dragged on and on and on forever until we die? Simone was great. By far the greatest in a long time. Doesn’t mean we need to hear about it every single time another athlete competes. Same as i would be annoyed if every quarterback gets compared to Tom Brady. We got it, he’s the best. Now talk about the ones playing the game. Also, all that pressure they put on her BY constantly calling her the best ever, faultless and the goat is why she ended up having mental health issues in Tokyo. The pressure was HEAVY from literally EVERYONE and she couldn’t handle it. Hence why i said i doubt she will return.

I agree!!! Very refreshing to talk about the actual gymnast in front of them instead of inane comparisons. Tim is toxic.

@@kellycommentates768 that's why I didn't like him. He was straight up rude about it too. I love Simone but acting like other gymnasts aren't good was messed up and idk why they let Tim get away with that for so long. Nastia was ok but she definitely fed off Tim's negative energy at times

If the commentators bringing gymnasts down after their performance rather than giving critiques gives you pleasure, then i’m concerned as to how that makes people view you as a person🤷‍♀️

I don’t see it happening anytime soon. She recently accepted a job as one of three people leading USA gymnastics.

I don’t know what it means in terms of her competing but now she’s part of the selection committee it’ll be unlikely she’ll compete again. I could be wrong

Why didn’t the other girls try harder and give her some competition? Would’ve been more fun to see

She’s one of the heads of USA gymnastics. They have three people heading the program. Chellsie, (technical lead) ASac, (strategic lead) and Dan Baker. (developmental lead aka junior program leader)

We can only hope. I think sometimes they save them for championships or worlds like for the “bigger events”.

They don't usually do the U.S. classic (they might in olympic years). It's often been John and someone else who was once upon a time an olympian. I think Tasha Schwikert did a few of them, so did Alicia Sacramone.

They're sitting out this competition to rest up for Nationals. They've already qualified for Nationals so there was no need for them to attend here.
